Note for All items of this BOQ : SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway / taxi track / Tarmac & similar location. Site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when Runway be will be made available by GE / Engineer-In-charge after consultation with users, due to constant operational commitment at Jamnagar station. The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly. No claim whatsoever, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. M&L for repairing pot holes / patches etc in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out damaged portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape, 25 to 30 mm deep, removing the loose material to a distance exc 250 metre but n.exc 500 m and cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, loose aggregates etc, priming the pot holes / patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified elastomeric concrete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Choksey Chemical (Product Name "Flex O Patch") or equivalent of make Fosroc Chemicals/ STP Limited

All as per item No 1 above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 30 mm deep but n.exc 40 mm deep.

All as per item No 1 above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 40 mm deep but n.exc 50 mm deep.

Make: FOSROC (Product Name Expocrete - EC) or equivalent of make / BASF / Choksey Chemical .

All as per item No 4 above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 25 mm deep but n.exc 35 mm deep.

All as per item No 4 above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 35 mm deep but n.exc 45 mm deep.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of concrete pavement / black bituminous pavements / plastered surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke, soot, molds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots and applying synthetic enamel paint of any tint and any colour as approved in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc by using runway / road marking machine, all as specified and directed. Make: APCOLITE IS manufactured by Asian Paints or equivalent of make Jenson & Nicholson paints Pvt Ltd / Nerolac.

All as per item No 7 above but width / girth not exceeding 10 cm.

Ploughing in any type of soil with disc plough mechanically operated with average depth of 45 cm running the plough in long and transverse direction and cleaning away of all grass / vegetable spoils, shrubs under growth roots and removing rubbish including breaking lumps, removing hard objects etc from the surfaces to a distance exc 150 metre but not exc 500 metre all as specified and as directed. Note:- Logbook containing detail of date and time of ploughing, location, shall be maintained by the contractor and shall be signed by the Engineer-in-Charge & contractor.

M&L for raking out existing old sealing compound (grade B /PU Sealent) including backup rod manually without damaging the pavement) from expansion joint 25 to 30 mm wide and 35 mm deep Preparing joint by cleaning, with air compressor, priming the joint as per manufacturer recommendations, supply & placing closed cell Polyurethane backup rod to control depth of sealant in the joints and sealing the joint with pitch free Polyurethane grey sealing compound conforming to BS-5212 (Type FB) and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top of the surface and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied, the sealant should have MAF + 25 complete all as specified and as directed.
