GRASS CUTTING AND DRAIN CLEANING IN AIRFIELD AREA AT INS GARUDA NB(K) UNDER GE(NW) KOCHI

Maintenance of runway shoulders and surrounding area by cutting of grass, plants,shrubs , vegtations and bushes from runway shoulders, taxi tracks, dispersal area by using grass cutting machine with steel blade cutter / nylon wire cutter, including removal of all debries from MD land area complete all as specified and as directed . NOTE :- (a) The tenderers are advised to visit the site and make themselves fully aware of the area to be maintained as specified in the Schedule 'A' (BOQ) and particular specifications. (b The grass ,plants ,shrubs , vegetation and bushes shall not be allowed to grow more than 15 cm from the ground level at any time. (c) Minimum 20 machines with operators (un-skilled labourers) (including fuel/ lubricants and spares etc , comprising of 10 Nos machines with blade cutters alongwith operators and 10Nos machines with nylon cutters alongwith operators shall be deployed each day for minimum 20 (twenty ) days in a calander month throughout the contract period with minium 8 hours working time with minimum of 4 litre fuel per mechine in a day. Contractor shall deploy un skilled labourers along with tools & plants and machine etc to excute work as per scope of work covered in this contract. (d) Grass, plants , vegetation and bushes obtained after cutting and maintenance work will become the property of the contractor as included in the schedule of credit which will be removed from the site as directed by Engineer -in- charge. (e) Unit rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for the provision of making good the shallow pits, if any, in the specified area mentioned above and cleaning the site of runway air field area and taxi track as specified in the Schedule 'A' (BOQ) and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account.

Providing 5 Nos un-skilled laboures for sweeping, collecting and removing of cut grass, bushes and other debries generated out of grass cutting and cleaning the area neat and clean @ 20 days in calendar month throuth out the contract period with minimum 8 hrs working hrs per day. Note : for item No 1 & 2 (i) A recovery equal to double the rate for unskilled labourer calculated based on the contractor's quoted rate per head per day will be deducted from any amount due to contractor in case of his failure to comply with the condition for providing minimum number of labourer for minimum number of days given above. (ii) The working days may vary based on the fllying on runway or as intimated by user authorities.

Provide JCB with operator including fuel, 08 hours working time to maintain the Airfield area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Any breakdown of the JCB shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt and the contractor has to arrange the new JCB immediaely to continue the work

Cleaning of open drains up to 1mtr width (inside) and any depth irrespctive of any type of contents from top to bottom & getting out and removing the mud/ slushy silt and other waste or dirt out side MD land and disposing off twice a year (as and when directed by Engr in charge) complete all as specified and as directed Note : Disposal of waste removed from the drains will be responsibility of the contractor. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Note: The rate quoted shall be for carring out cleaing of drains twice in a year as directed. For doing cleaning once (First time) part payment (with propotionat rate) will be made.

All as per BOQ Item No 4 here in before but width of drain exc 1 mtr (inside) but not exc 3 mtr all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
