Fabrication, providing , fitting , testing and commissioning of 200 mm dia mild steel foot valve at Lift Irrigation Scheme Magraypora with perfect flat seat face for excellent sealing having rigid and sturdy design with minimum head loss, the overall approximate dimensions/ specifications are as: a) Nominal dia= 200 mm b) Body dia = 250mm c) Overall length = 450mm d) Top flange 200mm dia, 12 mm thick (01 no.) e) Flange for strainer 250 mm dia, 08 mm thick (01 no.) f) Seat plate, weight plate and bottom flange to be carved out of 16mm thick plate. g) Body thickness= 08 mm The foot valve shall be fitted with M.S. strainer fabricated out of 12mm square bar, height 06 inch, leather washer, and hinge pin assembly and providing, fitting of nuts and bolts is included in the fabrication of the foot valve. The job includes applying one coat of red oxide steel primer and two coats of bitumen paint to foot valve. The job includes dismantling of worn out/damaged foot valve at site and transportation to divisional store Baramulla.
