Eartwork in excavation or re-excavation of drainage channels/rivers in all kind of soil including silt, sand slush etc. mixed with all sorts of industrial wastes, sewages municipal garbage, carcasses, tannery effluents, jungles, bushes, semisolid/solid compact mass, water hyacinth, cowdung deposits, decomposed vegatation, polythenes, brickbats, gravels, stone ballasts, crates, remmunts of bullah and bamboo pins etc. by means of suitable excavator mounted on pontoon, (minimum depth of water0.75 meter) specially made to suit the site condition in tidal or no tidal channels, river and carrying of the excavated materials to suitable locations of the channels/rivers and diesel machine operated boats or similar arrangements in manner suited for the purpose and placing the excavated material from the boat etc. on the top of the bank at available locations having distances from the point of re-excation as shown below, by means of excavatorsor any other machinesor manuallyas may be required, including all lifts. Measurement: By Pre-work and Post-work level sections. Pre-work levelfor the existing bedof the channel/riveris to to be taken by displacing water hyacinth and all other floating materialsincluding compact masses, carcasss ets. and for which no extra payment will be made. Post work level section will be takenonly when a stretch of atleast 300 mter is completedand said Post -work will be takenwithin 7 days after completion of excavation in that reach. a) For distance of 0 to 50 meter from the point of re-excavation to the placing point on the bank.

Disposal/carriage of excavated earth/materialsoutside Government land by truck or any other conveyance overkuchcha/pucca road including cost of stacking, loading, unloading, transporting arrangement of land, if required by agency, spreading and levelling as necessaryetc. complete. Measurement: By stacks at loading pointafter deductingvoids as per as per Rule.( This item can only be usedafyter obtaing permission from the concerned Superintending Engineer.)
