CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES, MANHOLES, GULLY TRAPS, REPAIRS TO MANHOLES COVERS, REPAIR TO SEWAGE LINES AND MISC B/R WORKS AT SECTOR 31A/B/C AT AF STATION CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) CHANDIGARH

M&L for attending/ clearing daily complaints of blockages of floor traps, WC's (Indian/ European), WHB traps, Kitchen traps, Urinal traps etc at Ground floor or above ground floors (upto 3rd floor) upto first manhole with and including necessary T & P as required for this purpose. NOTE :- (a) Complaint slip shall collected by the contractor/supervisor from MES complaint cell at Sector 47 Bldg No 401 of AGE B/R-I (AF) Chandigarh at 09:00 Hrs and submit the same duly signed by the occupant at 1630 Hrs in the complaint cell. It will be responsiblity of contractor to ensure their attendance & completion of complaints. (b) If any complaint not resolved within 24 Hrs the recovery @ Rs 500/- per complaint per day will be charged from RAR OR Final Bill. (c) During cleaning of blockages removed grating will be refixed in existing position with white/grey cement after clearing of blockage from trapes. (d) The contractor will ensure the cleaning/clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of Nos) within 24 Hrs by deploying additional sewer man/ safaiwala if needed. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. (e) Contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the safety measures required by the sewer man/ safaiwalas during working hours. (f) All the waste material/ sludge shall be disposed off out of MoD land.

M&L for Removing blockage from gully trap, including getting out solid/ liquid/ foreign matter/ mud deposited there and removing the same in a hygienic manner outside MoD land to make the sewage waste/ sludge waste flow free up to first manhole, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Dewatering/Desludging of manholes/GT/septic tank etc. (any size and depth), desilting and removing sludge from manholes as in foul conditions and removing of sludge beyond MoD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Dewatering /desludging shall be done by suction pump / any mechanical means and disposal by truck mounted trailors to dispose off sludge etc beyond MoD land earmaked by local Municipal Corporation).

M&L for Cleaning solid/liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines,up to and including 200mm bore, of any type, between consecutive manholes, by super suction machine, through connecting manholes, over and including complete men, machine and water as required, removal and refixing of manhole covers etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 150 mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching the new pipes with PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) in all situations where cleaning is not possible otherwise including returning, filling and disposal of surplus soil outside MoD land etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

All as per ser item No 05 here-in-before but 200 mm bore dia of pipes. Note for serl 5 & 6 :- (a) Excavation & earth filling including disposal of surplus soil tooutside MoD land shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted against this item. (b) The complaints where cleaning of blockage is not possible with rodding and is to be cleared by breaking existing line.

M&L for Cleaning of underground sewage lines upto 150 mm bore by manually including manhole, any depth, taking off & refixing of manhole covers, getting out all foreign matter such as solid/ liquid/ mud etc. and removing the same outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, etc n.exc. 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

M&L for Cutting to existing hardstanding/roads of any description upto 200mm depth and making good to true surface to match the existing surface finished after laying of pipes/manholes/GT complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes, 150 mm internal dia (Salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including haunching and bed concrete.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes, 200 mm internal dia (Salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including haunching and bed concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in bed to drain pipes of size 150 mm bore, including packing under & haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in bed to drain pipes of size 200 mm bore, including packing under & haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Salt glazed stoneware drain pipes, grade “A’ 150 mm dia laid in trenches & jointed etc all as specified and by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Salt glazed stoneware drain pipes, grade “A’ 200 mm dia laid in trenches & jointed etc all as specified and by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm.

Removing excavated material (soil) n.exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

Demolation of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement or cement lime mortar , including all quions, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius in cement mortar (1:6), using old size bricks, complete all as specified.

All as per item No. 19 here in before but except bricks.

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls or stone walls of any description etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick masonry surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of surfaces of newly plaster of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

Providing cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-0, (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregates), as in manhole benching, coping including forming channels, finishing even & smooth (using extra cement), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge. (Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately)

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, pipe of size 150 mm dia pipe making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-1, smooth finished and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

S&F in repairs salt glazed stoneware gully traps, 150x150mm square or round mouthed, type P complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced), of any description & in any position (below or above ground level), not exceeding 15cm thickness, including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in floors/hard standing, plinth protection, etc, finished even and smooth with using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Forming 12 mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ upto 100mm thick concrete flooring complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs Vitreous China squating pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580x440mm white, with integral foot rests, including 100mm cast iron 'P' or 'S' trap and 100mm cast iron sanitary connection socket to fit WC outlet including connection to trap, to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe etc. complete including making good to floor complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Vitreous China wash down water closet (pedestal pattern), white (excluding fixing bolts flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connected to drains outlet, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

M&L Cast iron floor trap, 75mm bore dia with grating including jointing to waste pipe fixed in cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cast iron floor trap, 100mm bore dia with grating including jointing to waste pipe fixed in cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cast iron/ reinforced concrete drain pipes or connections upto 100mm dia, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25 mm thick, PCC (1:2:4), type B-0 (12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring finished even & rough to receive the bedding mortar, complete all as specified.

M&L First quality, Non skid ceramic coloured tiles, 7 to 8 mm thick, (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sq.m but not exceeding 0.18Sq.m, laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles, complete all as specified.

M & L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles 350x450x7mm OR 350x250x7 mm thick, joint free on vertical surfaces, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white/colour cement to match over and including 10mm thick cement mortar as in backing coat of tile in cement mortar 1:4, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (Reinforced), of any description & in any position (below or above ground level), not exceeding 15cm thickness, including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing precast RCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in manhole cover slabs (for manholes etc) of any size & thickness set in cement mortar 1:4.Note:- (i) The quoted rates shall deemed to include for providing two handles of MS round bars 12mm dia and 75mmx5mm flat iron framework alround the RCC cover made to shape as specified in each cover complete (ii) Reinforcement and FI shall be measured & paid separately.

M& L for TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with the including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clipscomplete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders framed balusters; walk ways; railings; and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165, complete all as specified.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness laid bedded and pointed in any mortar to floors, aprons etc. complete all as specified.

Material and labour, factory made, precast concrete, machine pressed, interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS : 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 Grade, with grey cement and pigment (in top layer), coloured, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 25mm thick fine sand cushioning and joints filled with fine sand, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, coloured chequered cement concrete tiles 300mmx300mmx25mm/400mm X400 X25mm thick, factory made, ISI marked (IS 13801-1993), with grey cement & pigment, laid with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm over & including 20mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6), pointed in white cement with matching colour pigment, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in plinth protection/sub base etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour plain cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregates) as in mud stops, sides of interlocking pver blocks and similar work, finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement , complete all as specified and directed.
