Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth for foundation etc. and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each soft and loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtrs above the starting points complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/ loose soil each hole n. exc. 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n. exc. 50m and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8cm deep before laying the cable and 15cm depth after laying & stretching of cable complete all as specified. Note: Punned thickness overall 18cm shall be measured & paid.

M&L for old size sub class `B` burnt bricks as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of aviation obstruction light on over head reservoir comprising of die cast aluminium alloy housing finished in aviation yellow colour, polycarbonate enclosures in red colour with and including 302 Nos LED and accessorised including dismantling and re-fixing air termination rod on overhead reservoir at the height of 20 to 25m above ground level complete all as specified and directed. Make: BAJAJ cat part No BGAV 302 LED or equivalent in performance in Havells/ Phillips. Note: Rate for any preparatory works, T&P and other resources required for dismantling/ repair/ fixing of aviation obstruction light, air termination rod etc. on the top of OHR at the height of 20 to 25m from Ground level is deemed to be included in the scope of item.

M&L for disconnecting & taking out defective non clogging submersible pump with motor for sewage system of capacity 15 HP alongwith column pipe of size upto 20 metre (maximum) long and lowered the same after repairs to motor/ pump alongwith existing/ replaced column pipe and re- connection for three phase AC Supply and tested at site to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Repair/ replacement of pump/ motor, column pipe/ rubber gasket/ nuts, bolt and washers shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Supply only of column pipe shall be measured and paid for separately. (iii) Transportation of defective motor/ pump from well to work shop and vice-versa shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. (iv) The cost of T&P required for taking-out, lowering to submersible motor/ pump/ column pipe shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

Supply and replacement of motor protection unit three phase 415 volt, 50 HZ, automatic phase sequence corrector automatically correct input reverse phase, single phase protection, LV, HV, LIV, auto of loft, timer, dry running under & over current, unbalancing, float switch with built in CTs (Automatic-RTM) complete all as specified and directed. Make SECO or equivalent in performance in Siemens/ Schneider/ C&S.

M&L for cleaning of overhead water storage tank of capacity 1,00,000 gallon by scraping internal and external surface of tank with brush and removing all scale/ dirt/ deposited silt including washed the internal surface of tank with solution of bleaching powder and applying one coat of cement base paint to internal and external surfaces of wall, top and bottom of tank, pillars/ beams/ pipes etc. after preparation of surface of OHT and providing one coat of synthetic enameled paint with colour code on inlet/ outlet/ washout/ over flow pipes as per existing with writing the cleaning date with white colour on black base complete all as specified and directed. Notes: - (a) Removing/ cleaning of honey bee hives shall be the responsibility of the contractor. No delay or additional charges shall be considered on this account. (b) Contractor shall be responsible for making all safety arrangements, scaffolding/ jhulla for carrying out the above job with due care at a height of approx 25 metre. (c) Contractor may visit the site before quoting the tender. (d) Insurance of labour engaged in cleaning of overhead tank shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and the cost of insurance shall be borne by the contractor. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

(f) Total disinfection and sterilisation of tank by exposing to UV radiation to ensure hygiene and bacteria free for safe storage of water. (g) Apply a coat of cement base paint to entire inner surface.
