Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedgingout rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads, and clause 16.2( Sixteen point two) of General conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposaland dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 9840.53 cubic metre ( Nine thousand eight hundred forty point five three cubic metre) in all cases @ Rupees 170/- ( Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorat basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads clouse- 305.1(Clause - Three Hundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials, including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Providing weep holes in brick/stone masonry/plain/ reinforcement concrete work abutment, wing walls, return walls with 100 mm ( One hundred milimetre) dia A/C pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1(v) : 20 (H) toward drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614,709, 1204.3.7. including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for cutting involved for sub grade to be measured and paid for separately) depending upon the classification of soil including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry soil etc., and re-rolling the sub grade including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HPPWD specification including haulage of material with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer In charge.

Construction of unlined surface drain of average cross-sectional area 0.40 Sqm( zero point forty square metre) in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a all lifts and leads as per Technical Specification Clause 307.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm ( four milimetre) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm ( One hundred into one hundred milimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 (ten) per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 including haulage of material with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer In charge.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY / NABARD informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm ( One point six milimetre) thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm ( Twenty five milimetre) x 5m ( Five metre) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm ( twenty five milimetre) x 25mm ( twenty five milimetre)x 5mm ( five milimetre). Reinforced cement concrete M15 (Fifteen) grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 (Eight) fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703. 5th (Fiveth) Kilometre Stone (precast) Including haulage of material with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer In charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 (Fifteen) grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 (Eight) fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703. Ordinary Kilometer Stone (Precast) Including haulage of material with in all leads, lifts and carriage of materials and as directed by the Engineer In charge.
