Dismantling all type of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials of site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75mtr. for laying all dia pipe line in ground floor, upto 150mm thic.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

b) Depthof excavation foradditional depth beyond 1,500mm. and upto 3,000mm. but not requiring shoring.

Hire charges of moveable type mounted earth excavator having minimum cutter size (1.0 cubic meter) & loader size (2.0 meter length x 0.75m width) for cutting & removal of any kind of soil, spoli etc. including cost of fuel, lubricants & manpower etc. in Water Supply Works. For beyond 8hrs. of working.

Hire charges of moveable crane with fuel & manpower having load handling capacity upto 14MT with the 45 deg. moveable arrangement & the boom length of 40 feets for loading & unloading of various materials / accessories of water supply works. For minimum engagement of 8 hrs. in a day

Hire charges of lighting generator of capacity 5KVA including fuel, mobil, operator, carriage etc. including all complete for water supply works. For minimum engagement of 8 hrs. in a day.

Making barricading of excavation trenches of road width upto 15mtr. to avoid any accident by providing 75mm dia bamboo post placed vertically & horizontally with the help of 6”size iron rail as per direction and satisfaction of EIC. (Applicable where critical situation arise and take up the work as per direction of EIC).

(A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity).

Supplying, fabricating & delivery of internal diameter M.S. Pipe of TATA/ SAIL/ Approved make (spirally welded ) as per IS 3589-2001 or as amended to be delivered at site inclusive of all duties , taxs charges and cost of transportation, loading & unloading & stacking all complete at lifting and destination points all complete as per the direction of EIC. 700 mm Diameter(I.D.) 10.00 mm thickness M.S. Pipe 1.00 mtr. Length.

Laying of MS Pipes, specials & valves of different dia. In the trenches/through RCC pipe including lifting, lowering and aligning by mobile crane at the trenches with a minimum cover of 1.20 mtr below ground level and hydraulic testing of the same ( to be paid seperately) all complete as per specification, direction and satisfaction of the EIC. ii) 700 mm Dia

Derusting, scraping, brushing and cleaning (to the extent of exposing the original surface) the outer surface of manufactured M.S. pipes and specials. applying first coat of synthetic primer Type-B as per IS: 15337: 2003 of approved make over it and wrapping the same with coal tar based insulating tape 2 mm thick as per IS: 15337: 2003 of approved make and applying the second coat of synthetic primer Type B (as specified above) over the first layer of insulating tape and wrapping the same with second layer of 2 mm thick coal tar based insulating tape (as specified above) in staggered pattern (including overlapping at ends) by torching etc. as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of EIC. Each layer of protective wrapping shall be tested with Holiday detector at Contractor's cost and the Contractor' shall repair all holidays to the satisfaction of EIC at no extra cost (Payment will be made on finished area of work)

Dedusting, brushing, cleaning and smoothening thoroughly the inner surface of spirally welded Mild steel and speclais by sand blasting to SA-1 Swedish specification and immediatly after sand blasting applying protection coatings ( Resistant to corrosion and contamination of drinking water) of Drink on Aluminium primer 2 coats. DFT(40-50) microns each coat of shalimar Paints Ltd or equivalent by spray painting in the inner surface of the pipes as per manufactures specification all complete with supply of requisite materials, labour consumable etc. including stacking of conted pipes properly as per specification, direction and satisfaction of EIC. 300 Micron food grade epoxy as internal lining to MS pipe.

Fillingthepipelinewithwater, testinghydraulicallyasper I.S3114-1965 (Article-6) in section of a length not exceeding 500mtr. for head of pressureasperspecificationincludingsupplyinginstallingandfixingall equipments such as diesel pump set, blank flange, pressuregauge, valve, pressurepumpandall other toolsandplants includingdrilling topping and plugging of necessary holes to pipes, blocking ends providingtemporary thrustblockandsubsequentblockingofholesand other jointing materials and dismantling and removal of the same includingdisposal of water etc. all completeasper specificationand directionof EIC. The rate is inclusiveof cost of requisitewater tobe arrangedby thecontractor (Recovery [email protected]/m3, if contractor used water from deptt. source). m) 700 mm Dia.

Cleaning thoroughly the inner surface of pipeline including specials and valves by flushing with water and subsequently disinfection of the same pipe line by flushing again with water containing bleaching powder resulting in residual chlorine not lesst han15mg/ltrs.after24hrs. of such filling including laboratory testing of water samples obtain from the disinfested pipe line and disposal of water from the pipe line after completionof thework. Hire and labour charges for shoring work (including necessary close plank walling, framing, Eucalyptus/Jhou bulla piling, strutting etc) complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge for foundation excavation (vertical surface are in contact with supported earth is to be measured.) (This item should be executed on specific direction of the Enginner in charge). (a) Depth upto 1.5 m.

Extra Plumber in case of specials repair, dicmanteling of flange joint etc. as for direction of E.I.C.

Dewatering from the excavated trenches for repairing any type of pipe line including Hire Charge of pump / carriage / Fuel & lubricant / Operator etc. for big dia pipes more, than 200 mm dia all complete as per direction of EIC. (This item will be executed after the permission of E.l.C.)

Making lighting arrangement for continuation work during night including all charges. (Applicable exclusively for emergency situation and as per direction of EIC.)

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Cast iron kinetic double orifice type air release valve having small orifice elastic ball resting on gun metal orifice nipple large orifice vulcanite ball seating on moduled seat ring, valve with built-in-Kinetic features, isolating sluice valve mounted in horizontal position and operated by a metre wheel gearing:inlet faced and drilled to IS 1538 Table 4 & 6. valve suitable for maximum working pressure of 10 kg/CM2 i) 150 Diameter in mm

Construction of different dia Sluice valve /Air valve /Washout chamber in different sizes for village road where light traffic run and for main road where heavy traffic run as deptt.approved drawing with 25cm thick brick work (1:6) over cement concrete (4:2:1) over a single B/F soling over150mm.thick sand filling in foundation including earth work in excavation and disposal of excess earth from work site with RCC (1:1.5:3) cover slab 100mm / 150mm thick slab on top of chamber with 1% reinforcement in RCC cover slab with necessary opening for operation of valve all complete including cost of labour & materials as per Departmental Dwg. Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (a)25mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)-964 connected o one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary olting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work ncluding all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in inished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of inished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less han 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, ivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof. I) For structural members of specified sections weighing less than 22.5 Kg./m

Removal of rubbish,earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal /Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer incharge.
