REPAIR, MAINTENANCE OF BUILDING EARTHING FOR ESG SHED AT 29 FAD UNDER GE DEHU ROAD

Taking down and S&F in repalcement GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm to be burried in ground for loop earthing and ground grid including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm×3.15mm thick electrode burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below GL) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected with 32×6mm GI strip as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m, with and including PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4), type B1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, mild steel frame made out of angle iron of size 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer hinged with and including 6 mm thick Cl cover with handle, watering arrangement with funnel internally secured with wire mesh with 20 mm dia medium grade GI pipe for watering, 40 mm dia light grade Gl pipe for lead protection in and including alternate layer of charcoal dust and common salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) connected to earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion including retrieving of old GI earth plate, CI cover, GI pipes, angle iron frame from existing earthing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - (i). Earthing strip GI/copper upto 7.5m will be measured and paid under this item only. (ii). The earth chamber shall be constructed 50 cm away from the edge of earth pit and the cost of the same is deemed to be included in rate quoted for above item.

Excavation in trenchesin Soft / loose soil not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for laying cable,erection of poles,stay and pipe line,complete allas directed.

Excavation in trenches for errection of poles etc.,n. exc 1.5m wide, exc 1.5m and n. exc 3.0m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point of any type of excavation all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc,but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and removing the debris from the site to a location as directed.

M&L for provision of PCC 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth, platforms, pole coping etc., all as specified and as directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth, platforms, pole coping etc., all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Erect Steel sewaged tubular poles complete with cast iron base plate, final taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified of type 410 SP-55 (9.0 Mtrs Long) including Painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete after preparation of steel surfaces and writing letters / Numbers not more than 10 cm high by Black paint all as directed.

Dismantling and removing ACSR conductor of any type from pole after disconnecting all connection on insulator etc all as directed.

Supply & fixing ACSR conductor of any type and Size incl binding, on insulator all as directed

Restringing/Fxing only ACSR conductor of any type and Size incl binding wire, retrived from item Srl No -12 all as directed

Dismantling cross arms of MS channel or angle iron section etc complete and setting aside for reuse/replacement with in 50 mtr all as directed.

Fixing only retrieved serviceable cross arms, bracing, support, clamps ,retrived from item Srl No -14 all as directed.

Supply and fix cross arms, bracing, support, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shapes or size including one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat all as directed.

Dismantling the insulators of any type/size/voltage.Testing with magar and keeping aside serviceable insulator for refixing all as directed.Note: Refixing/Replacement of new items measured and paid in respective seperate items.

Supply and fix pin type insulator, Polymetric/poreceline , vitreous, white/brown including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut 150 mm height 150 mm dia 11000 volt grade all as specified.

supply and fixing stay assembly complete with 16mm dia stay Rod and accessories as shown in Electrical plate No-1(loop type Insulator, stay clamps, excavation and Concrete measured separately) complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix loop type insulator, Polymetric, proceline white/brown with over all dimension 90 x 140 mm clearance of hole 25.5 mm all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix galvanized stay strand 7/2.24 mm all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix test point terminal block made out of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 03 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs / replacement air termination single pointed aluminium rod 19 mm dia and 2000 mm long with necessary fixing arrangements to be fixed on PCC blocks on roof (appx. 35 feet above GL) all as specified and directed.

Labour only for re-fixing in repair aluminium strip of size 25 mm x 3.15 mm to procelain insulator with suitable saddles & fixing screws etc on roof or on wall (appx. 35 feet above GL) including of bitumen washer, nuts, bolts, etc. required to fix the strip on existing serviceable or new insulators complete all as specified and directed. NOTE - Cost of suitable fixing jobs like drilling, welding, etc. required for fixing of strip and insulators on the any existing surface like PCC wall, asbestos sheet, etc. at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

All as per item No 24 above but GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm.

Labour only for re-fixing in repairs/replacement air termination at any height, single pointed, aluminium rod 19 mm dia and 300 mm long to be screwed and sturdily fixed to GI pipe of 40 mm dia with and including two no. sets of suitable size nut, bolt, washers all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE - PCC block and GI pipe required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch 'A'.

S&F in repair/replacement aluminium strip at any height of size 25 mm x 3.15 mm to procelain insulator with suitable saddles & fixing screws etc on roof or on wall (upto appx. 35 feet above GL) including of bitumen washer, nuts, bolts, etc. required to fix the strip on existing serviceable or new insulators complete all as specified and directed. NOTE - Cost of suitable fixing jobs like drilling, welding, etc. required for fixing of strip and insulators on the any existing surface like PCC wall, asbestos sheet, etc. at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

S&F in replacement of GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm to be buried in ground as earth continuity conductor to be fixed from test point to test point complete all as specified and directed. Note - Earth work required shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in replacement of vitreous china porcelain insulator with busbar support, white type to be fixed on wall or on roof (upto. 35 feet above GL) for fixing of GI or copper conductor earth continuity strip complete all as specified and directed. NOTE - Cost of suitable fixing jobs like drilling, welding, etc. required for fixing of strip and insulators on the any surface at site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for earthing complete with hot dip galvanized steel pipe in pipe electrode, outer pipe 88mm dia medium grade and inner pipe 55 mm dia including testing, 3 mtr long and having 50x6 mm terminal on inner pipe to connect earthing strip with 14 mm holes for nut bolts, buried directly and vertically in ground with top edge at 30 cm below ground level after making bore hole of 100 mm dia and 3.3 mtr deep using suitable mechanical drilling machine (for drilling near the specified bldg) connected with galvanized steel earthing lead of 32x6 mm strip with minimum two Nos of GI nut bolits and connected to test point from earthing pit. The electrode pipes should be filled with 2x 25 kg bags of carbon based earthing compound. The resistance of the compound should be less than 0.1 Oms . The compound should be highly conductive, hygroscopic, non magnetic, non corrosive in nature and have best moisture retaining qualities with ph value between 7-9. Connected to the earthing test point, Fiber reinforced plastic pit not less than 300x300 mm with pit cover, including necessary returning filling & removal of extra soil , to achieved earth resistance value less than 5 Oms including testing complete all as specified Make U-Protect or equivalent NOTE: if the desired result not obtained after testing the contractor should do re-eathing without any extra cost.

M & L for testing of lighting protection system & earthing of various Tech Accns in the presence of JE E/M/ Engineer -in -Charge by removing all earthing connections and the resistance of earthing (if any) & lightning protection network detailing the defective earthings & lightening protection systems. Items to be repaired/ to be renewed must be noted down during record of test of lighting protection system. The test results should be kept on record after repairs/renewal and have to be get signed from Engineer-in-Charge alongwith the signature of Contractor. NOTE: (i) The earthing showing test result beyond 10 ohms are to be renewed and will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item of Sch 'A'. (ii). Earth Megger for measuring the resistance of each earthing and conncetd accessories is to be brought by the contractor.

Removing existing worn out CI cover with angle iron frame of earth chamber and supply and fix new CI cover of size 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm thick fixed in frame made out of mild steel angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm thick with and including locking and lifting arrangement, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay 40 mm dia, GI pipe, light grade, burried in trenches/or to be fixed on wall as earth continuity protection in repairs including necessary excavation and earth work in hard soil, returning & filling in, watering and well ramming, removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtrs complete all as specified and directed
