M&L for repair to potholes not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (9.8 kg of binder with 0.09 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade (VG-10) at 5 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-10 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note :(i) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (ii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 70/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iii) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate.

M&L for laying bituminous premixed carpet, 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 0.405 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder VG-10, laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand (As per 4.4.7.2 grading Zone-I, tabler 2 of SSR Part-I 2009) mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, VG-10 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bituminous premixed carpet shall be mixed in mobile mini hot mix plant at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like exc 10 cm wide with road marking painting, white or golden yellow with adequate number of coats complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Removing building materials etc. to a distance of 100m or under, beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less complete all as specified and directed.

Finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming construction joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound grade A thickness of slab 150 mm complete all as specified and directed.
