M & L for preparation of old black bituminous top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and apply a tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG 30 @ 5 kg per 10 square meter complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30 at the rate of 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud of water scoring sunken surface in road etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10 sqm and filled with bituminous premixed carpet mix, 25mm consolidated thickness, with 0.33 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 kg of binder (paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30) per 10 square meter, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power road roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 40mm consolidated thickness, bituminous premixed carpet, with 0.54 cum. of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 kg of binder using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power road roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30 @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum per l0 sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with power road roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs Solar Road studs made up of highly compressive materials to sustain over 10 tonnes ,water resistance Aluminium alloy and polycarbonates 125x125x20mm with 6 LED prismatic reflective lens on each side with stem fixing to road by hammer/embedding complete all as specified and directed ( Make: Shakti Cat Part No. SE-SLRS 7501,7505, or equivalent of Dark Eye, Automat Amed Alexir, Brook India Ent)

S & F Cat Eyes dual direction cat eye studs made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retro reflective on both sides for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry condition fixed with suitable bitumen adhesive on the road surfaces including dismantalling of old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed ( Make: Shakti Cat Part No. SE-PRS 3002, Dark Eye, Automat Amed Alexir, Brook India Ent)

Material and Labour for 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic materials by fully/semi automatic thermplastic materials applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads dispensers, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirty, seals, oil grease and foreign materials etc. complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates shall deemed to include the cost of form work shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
