NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE :- (a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Special Condition 11 of tender document mentioned here-in-after. (b) The Engineer-in-charge may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 50% quantity of the material with in 30 days from the date of commencment as required at site out of quantity to complete the scope of work. Remaining 50% shall be procured as per site requirement during progress of work.The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor. (c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failing which contractor shall liable to pay a penal recovery of Rs. 5000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, subject to maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher. (d)The contractor shall obtain approval of “Qualified Tradesman” as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as Electrician / FGM / Technician etc., readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery etc., as per site requirement.

Disconnecting and taking out existing un-serviceable LT XLPE Cable of size 70 to 300 Sqmm 3.5 Core from trenches or in any positon complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Excavation and earthwork (if required) shall measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule.

Supply & laying LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with alumimium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 300 Sqmm x 3.5 Core, laid in trenches / passing through pipe / duct / on wall complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl item No. 3.00 here in before but cross sectional area 240 Sqmm x 3.5 Core

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth; laying of cable etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenching with soil and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning with River sand in trenches for protection of UG cable and including punning down complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand coushioning shall only measured and paid.

Supply & laying sub class 'B', class designation 75 bricks of old size, laid over sand cushioning along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches including taking out old bricks complete all as specified and directed. Note : Sand cushioning will measured and paid seperately.

S&F 80 mm bore dia galvanised steel tubing, light grade galvanised, laid under road crossing, for cable protection or fixed to poles, walls or laid under floors including taking down existing un-serviceable GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl item No. 13.00 here in before but 50 mm bore

M&L for cutting the bitumineous mecadam / hard standings in road and excavating trenches across the road in size not exceeding 0.45 m wide and 0.6 m depth for laying cable / cable protection pipe including returning and refilling earth & making good top surface of the disturbed portion with 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) / bituminous mix as per existing & matching with the surroundings including removal of rubbish off to a distance not exceeding 100 m complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted against this item shall deemed to include road cutting, earth work excavation, plain cement concrete work required for making good top surface etc., complete.

M&L for cutting / demolotion of Kota stone flooring / tiles flooring / hard standings in floor area for laying cable including earth work, excavation and returning / refilling earth work & making good top surface of the disturbed protion by and including laying of Kota stone tiles over 100 thick PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as per existing sepcifications to matching with the surroundings complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L straight through joint, heat shrinkable type complete with jointing materials and accessories, suitable for 1.1 KV, 3.5 / 4 core LT XLPE aluminium conductor cable of size 150 to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The cost of earth work & excavation shall deemed to included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

All as per Sl Item No. 17.00 here in before but suitable for cable of size 3.5 / 4 core 240 to 300 Sqmm

M&L End termination cable joint kit (indoor/outdoor) heat shrinkable type complete with jointing materials and accessories, suitable for 1.1 KV, 3.5 / 4 core LT XLPE aluminium conductor cable of size 70 to 120 Sqmm including taking down un-serviceable joint kit complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl Item No. 19.00 here in before but suitable for cable of size 3.5 / 4 core 150 to 185 Sqmm

S&F cubical type LT feeder pillar box, outdoor type, factory made from CPRI approved factory, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA steel sheet and including MS angle iron 50 x 50 x 6 mm frame work, legs 0.6 m long, MC 100 channel base, totally enclosed, dust & vermin proof using neoprene rubber gasket (IP-54), double leaf door shutter in front side and single leaf shutter in rear side fixed with hinges having necessary locking arrangement in both front and rear door, with four side projected slanting roof, provided with louvers for ventilation / heat dissipation, danger notice plate, duly powder coated of approved shade over a coat of red oxide primer both internally and externally and including mounting on PCC platform made out of PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (20 mm graded stone aggregate), 150 mm thick (100 mm below & 50 mm above GL) and including necessary form work, earth work and excavation.
