Supply and erection of interfacing panels, cables and miscellaneous items for New Ammonia tank project in phase-2 at FACT-CD, Ambalamedu.

Supply of interfacing panel-1: The scope of work includes supply of Rittal make control panel of minimum size width-600mm, height-600mm, depth-250mm with terminal blocks and PVC cable ducts. Two number of terminal blocks shall be fixed vertically on the mounting plate. Each terminal block shall have 60 numbers of 800V, Din rail mounted, Polyamide 6.6 Elmex connectors suitable for terminating 2.5 Sq.mm copper control cables. End plates shall be provided at both end of the terminal blocks. 45x45mm PVC cable ducts with cover shall be fixed in all boarders and 60x45 mm cable duct with cover shall be fixed in middle of the panel board for wiring. Panel material of construction shall be sheet steel of thickness not less than 1.5mm. Enclosure and door shall be Dipcoat primed and powder-coated on the outside. It shall have hinged single door with 3 mm double-bit lock. Doors shall be all-round foamed-in PU seal. Mounting plate shall be Zinc-plated. Gland plate shall be provided at bottom side. Protection category shall be IP 66. General arrangement/ Dimensional drawing of panel board shall be submitted for approval before starting the work.

Supply of MS stand for interfacing panel-1: The scope of work includes fabrication and supply of supporting stand suitable for item mentioned in Sl.No.1 using MS angle of minimum size 50x50x6mm and MS flat of minimum size 50x6mm. It shall have 600mm height. Supporting stand shall be painted with two coats of anti-corrosive epoxy paint (black colour) over two coats of suitable primer. It can be fixed in concrete floor using 12mm anchor bolt.

Installation of interfacing panel-1: The scope of work includes fixing of MS stand (item mentioned in Sl.No. 2.) in concrete floor using 12mm dia anchor bolt, fixing of interfacing panel-1 (item mentioned in Sl.No. 1) on top of this stand using SS/Cad plated bolt, nut, washers of minimum 12mm dia. Panel shall be double earthed with existing aluminium earth cable of size not greater than 50Sq.mm. Anchor bolts, SS/Cad plated bolt, nut, washers etc. required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying of 44 core control cables: The scope of work includes removal of concrete slabs, laying of 44 core, 2.5 Sq.mm, armoured, copper cable through existing trenches/trays/walls and MS structures, Tying of cables at an interval of 500mm using nylon rope in cable tray, clamping of cables at an interval of 500mm using GI/AL clamps in walls/structures and refixing of concrete slabs after the work. Concrete chipping/sand removal from trench if necessary to complete the work is also comes under the scope of vendor. Vendor shall supply Nylon rope, GI/AL clamps, Screws, Grip, washer etc. for successful completion of the work.

Glanding and termination of 44 core control cable: The scope work includes providing holes in gland plate/MS plate using hole saw cutter, glanding of 44 core, 2.5 Sq.mm, armoured, copper cable using cable gland of suitable size, termination of the cable using boot lace copper lug. Ferrule number shall be inserted in each wire. Ferrule number details will be given at the time of work. Vendor shall bring ferrule printing machine, tubes and crimping tools for the successful completion of the work. Cables shall be neatly wired through the cable ducts in the control panel. Cable glands, Boot lace copper lug, cable ties, cable braids required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor. Cable Gland shall be Single Compression type, Nickel plated Brass with ring, rubber bush, lock nut etc. suitable for PVC insulated, PVC outer sheathed cable.
