PUMPING MACHINERY (Refer to Data SheetNo. 5) Supply of star rated energy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ WPIL/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar or any other make approved by JSV HP conforming to latest relevant IS-5659-1970 latest with upto date ammendmeds. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water/Raw water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-2013 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear.The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge, actuated NRV's & Sluice valves compatible for automation of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current. It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, actuated sluice valves & NRV's compatible for automation including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. The HP are indicative.Since the rechack & verify and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc. (Refer to Data Sheet No.4.2)

Automation of the Entire Project:- The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation which comprises of (i) 1 Intake arrangement (ii) WTP OF 2.85 MLD capacity (iii)Pumping Machinery for 2 Nos Pump houses (iv) 2 Nos Main Balancing Reservoir (vi) 6 No Collection Tanks of schemes :- LWSS Jawalamukhi old,LWSS Thakurdwara, LWSS Dehra Old, LWSS Dehrian Phase 2nd, LWSS Jalandhar Lahar, LWSS Shivnath Khabli (vi) Providing and fixing various actuated valves of relevent class and dia as per relevant Data Sheet and technical specification shall be provided in all storage reservoirs at outlets and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at left Bank of Baner Khad Pump house. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 16 pipe lengths or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge duly welded in three layers (two for outer & one on inner side) and all other operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc , lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing and fixing of flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately).The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe.
