Notes:- (i) The scope of work is to be carried out from ground level to nearly upto 40 metres of height. (ii) The works are to be carried out on vertical surfaces, flat RCC roof,sloped mangalore roof and sloped galvalume sheet. (iii) Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive for scaffolding/boom lift/crane as required. Contractors should arrange necessary scaffolding/ boomlift/crane and takes all safety precautions for workers at the time of carrying out works as described in Sch 'A'/ BOQ. (iv) Contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to assess the resources required to execute the work as the site include prestigeous buildings of INA. (v) Cost of all factors are deemed to be included in the rate quoted in BOQ. No extra claim will be entertained. (vi) All debris, unserviceable items shall be removed from site and disposed off outside INA Area. Loading, unloading, staking and transportation charges are included in relevent items of taking down or demolition / dismatling. A recovery of Rs 5000/ load will be levied off from the contractor if any debris/ salvage material is found dumped inside INA area. (vii) The contracts involving working at elevated locations of buildings, contractor should ensure proper safety arrangements as per norms. Wearing safety belts and helmets are mandatory. A penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be recovered from contractor if safety norms are not followed.

Dismantling single layer of mangalore pattern tiles in roofing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.03 above but except tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for ridge or hip tiles to suit mangalore pattern or roofing tiles bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 using water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for preparation of new MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the tiles and applying two coats of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint or equivalent over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the tiles and applying one coats of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F anodised aluminium section for below MP tiles in repair with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting / galvalume sheets, any gauge, thickness as in roof covering including aluminium frame complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet corrugated/Mangalore tile pattern of 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws with bitumen washer complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position of capacity exc 250 and not exc 500 litres complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing water proofing treatment of any description and removal rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 using water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerb, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in filling and mass concrete, roof slab padding preparatory to roof treatment complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on roof with water proofing compound surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.2 Kg per sqm including cleaning surface for laying, APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 4kg/sqm and minimum 4mm thick reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (wt not less than 160 gms/sqm) by forced application complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F hangers 6 mm dia. G.I. (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F anodised aluminium snap grid frame work for false ceiling of size of grid 605 x 605mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 4mm thick E-board, multipurpiose, decorative type for ceiling purpose complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with water proofing compound, surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound(WPC) shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only intergral waterproofing compound of approved quality complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on ceiling surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:6 on wall surface, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying two coats of polyurethane liquid or silicone based water repellant repellin WR of Pidilite or equivalent make in Dr. Fixit/Forsroc for water proofing treatment before plastering on walls complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of acrylic emulsion (exterior grade) over a coat of primer on wall/ceiling complete all as specified and as per manufacturer's instructions. Note:- The quoted rates includes necessary scaffoldings and safety measures for safe doing of work at heights.

M&L for preperation of new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of acrylic emulsion paint (interior grade) on wall over a coat of acrylic primer complete all as specified and as per manufacturer's instructions.

M&L for applying three coat of white wash on ceiling including preperation complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, design and erection of steel tubular scaffolding upto a height of 25m inside the AMBC building as per standard engineering practice and safety norms complete including dismantling and removing the same after completion of the work all as directed by Engineer in Charge.
