Dismantling, Repairing / Replacement of worn-out parts and Testing of Tug Boat (Towing Boat), Rubber Inflated boat I, Aluminium boat stationed at River Jhelum Jetty Baramulla of Dredging Sub Division of Flood Mechanical Division Baramulla.

Rubber Inflated Boat I (I) Repairs to Rubber inflated boat-I by way of removal of 25HP OBM engine from out board motor bracket plate and transom (rear side of boat on which the engine is mounted) from rubber inflated boat after cleaning of tubes and transom by using microfiber cloth, and then fixing the transom to tubes by using polyamine/Poly marine inflated boat adhesive( with specifications as it must be salt water resistant, self-adhesive power and it must be specially designed for Hypalon inflated boats) 250 ml tin with curing agent tube. The job also includes applying the 06 No. patches (with specification as it must be of high quality material, waterproof, safe and durable) to the leak/ damaged area of rubber inflated boat tubes also fixing the tube with transom and applying patches to the joint between transom tube and outboard bracket plate and fixing it well. Cost includes testing on load.

II Repairing/fitting/finishing/Installing of aluminium propeller 3 wing type propeller for one engine by way following steps 1.Dismentling the propeller by way of putting a piece of wood block between propeller blade and anti-ventilation blade to hold propeller then remove the split pins nuts, washer, propeller and thrust holder from shaft of 25HP OBM engine and transom (rear side of boat on which the engine is mounted and then cleaning the propeller with the help of cloth 2.Grinding the edges and worn out side to make it feasible for aluminium welding 3. Aluminium weld the worn and damaged portion of wings to its exact shape and size. 4. Finishing and polishing the wings with the help of required tools and tackles. 5. Fitting the dismantled propeller by the way of installing thrust holder, propeller, stopper, washer and nuts onto the shaft and then tighten the propeller nuts to specified torque and align grooves to propeller shaft hole and then install split pins into the nut hole and bend it of 25HP OBM engine and transom and test it with full loads in water for more than 2 hour. 6. All the tools, materials, welding electrodes, tackles needed for the successful completion of the job are to be provided and arranged by the firm including charges for men & material, complete job.

III) Providing of 01 No. air pump inflator foot pump for rubber inflated boat with specifications as under. a) PP & Nylon with 3L. b) Unique adapter to suit of HR Valves. Air displacement (Per stroke) is 3L.

ii) Providing and fitting of Rectifier with specification of 12 Volt as per sample by way of removing the already damaged rectifier with the help of tools and tackles, then supplying/fitting/installing testing the new rectifier along with allied accessory if used .The cost includes the supply of rectifier, tools ,tackles, labours ,transportation and testing it on full load.

(iii) Repairing/ Fixing/ Installing and testing of the Steering of Aluminium Boat by following steps A) Firstly remove the cowl with the help of tools and tackles of 40HP OBM engine B) Remove the starter lock cable from the recoil starter by pulling the starter lock cable C) Remove the bolts 5 pieces and remove the recoil starter D) Install the knotted end of the starter rope into the notch in the flywheel and wind the rope around the flywheel several turns clock wise E) Tie a loop into the steering board and then turn the steering left and right to check the direction of changing of engine which is attached with the cable to steering. F) Installing a new steering gear box (as per sample ) and then reassemble the gear box with steering G) Once the testing is done then refitting back the bolts, cowl to the engine. H) After assembling of equipment the testing is done in full load at upstream and downstream

Tug Boat/ Towing Boat (1. 2 Providing and fitting of Lock Nuts and bolts to 6 cylinder -104 HP Diesel Engine (Cummins) for completely stationing (size 3inch Dia and quantity 20No’s as per sample)

3 Providing, Fitting, installation and testing of damaged right side engine impeller for water circulation by way of dismantling the right side pump with the help of tools and tackles and then withdrawing the damaged impeller and then fitting back the new bronze material impeller of same size and shape (as per sample) to the pumping unit and assemble. After assembling of equipment the testing is done in full load at upstream and downstream

4.Fabrication, providing, Testing, Fitting and commissioning of back housing plate of Tug Boat engine. The job includes the charge for dismantling of damaged plate with the help of skilled labour , gas cutter and other tool and tackles , then shifting to workshop as sample for fabrication of new one ( with required weight =15kg approx) after complete fabrication of new plate then shifting back to site and fitting it properly with the help[ of skilled labours , labours and other tools and tackles and testing on full load .
