Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1.00 here in before but depth exc 1.5 m and n.exc 3.0 m.

Removal of surplus excavated material of any type to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m bove the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling in of excavated material any type including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading clean dry sand for cable cushioning in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured)

Supply and laying sub class 'B' bricks of old size (approved size locally available) laid along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M &L Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type C2 (using 40 mm aggregrate) as in foundations filling mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

M &L for cement concrete PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm aggregrate) as coping of poles including necessary form work and demolition of old coping complete all as specified and directed

M&L for GI pipe light grade 50 mm dia laid along road crossings / plinth protection with suitable fittings for cable protection or fixed to the pole/ Wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge . Make : Surya Roshni Ltd / Tata / Jindal steel / Prakash

Cutting trench through road/ wall to a width of 20cm and depth of 30cm for inserting GI protection pipe for drawing cable and filling back the trench with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 complete all as directed. ( NOTE : GI pipe will be measured and paid separately )

M&L for preperation of old painted surface, cleaninig of oils, lubricants, grease etc complete of any type of 11.0 m long poles as per IS above PCC coping and applying 2 coats of aluminium paint on pole including brackets, clamps and terminal boxes and providing 5 cm wide two nos red colour flourcent strip pasting on pole at height as directed and writing pole Nos complete all as specefied and directed.

Taking out unserviceable LT UG CABLE after necessary testing of any type and size up to 70 Sq mm 3.5 core all as directed by Engr -in-charge.

Note : (a) Spares like ballast, lamp, starter, capacitor , igniter, holders, lamp holder, etc. shall be measured and paid separetely under relavant items of schedule'A' (b) Necessary tools like mobile ladder & other T&P required etc shall be arranged by the contractor (c) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive for minor repair parts like nuts, bolts,cirle clips, clamps etc if required at site.
