Development of Tube-Well by continuous over Pumping method with V.T.Pumps/Submersible Pumps of suitable capacity not less than double the discharge established by the Compressor method/design discharge, untill the well sand free as per IS-11189:1985 with uptodate ammendments, if any; complete in all respect as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and setup of all laboratory equipment and sizes shall be based on manual of water supply and treatment published by CPHEEO, Ministry of Urban development, Govt of india new Delhi. The design of various units shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes. All the hydraulic structure shall be designed and constructed in RCC M-30 design shall be carried out as per design shall be carried out as per design parametre included in the No.3.1. This further includes combination of various treatment units based on flow diagram given in the above manual for consideration of alternative proposals or any other low cost treatment methods based on existing plants working under similar conditions with necessary performance certifications. Providing and Laying column aseembly of G.I./MSERW pipe considering site requirements and having appropriate size in accordance with the delivery size of pumping set . The pipe shall conform to relevant BIS codes & capable of with standing the feild test pressure equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure including all type of fittings such as bends, tapers/ reducers, flanges, rubber gaskets 3mmthick, nuts & bolts and any other fitting required at site and work shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The pipe material shall conform to relevant BIS Code and capable of with standing FTP equal to 1.5 times the operating pressure the complete arrangement shall compromise of

Excavation in foundation trenches etc. (in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work soft /hard rock, chiesling soft /hard rock where blasting is prohibited, slushy, daldal and saturated soil I/c pumping or bailling out water with in all heights stacking the excavated soil with 15cm layer when required into plinth ,sides of foundations etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus earth as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts .
Providing, laying, jointing & testing of bevelled ended GI pipe Medium Class with MS Flange of following Table (6%) flange joint & other Pipe (94%) circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding (welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of GI pipe of following dia meters conforming to IS 1239-2004 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall include all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees, making bevelled pipe ends suitable for butt welding , lowering & laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level complete in all respects to the best satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches and cost of providing flanges i/c nuts & bolts, welding of flanges, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) . The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes ( If damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) and all other specials made from the parent tube shall be provided with anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
