MANNING AND OPERATION OF WATER SUPPLY SEWAGE INSTALLATION AND DG SET UNDER GE MES ROORKEE

Manning & operation of water supply and Sewage installations and plants and attending day to day complaints and repair works of installations as directed by Engineer-in- Charge in any shift of 8 hrs, the operation of pumping set and connected system installed (Installations are located at different pockets of Roorkee Cantt, Saharanpur & Purkazi). Clubbing of near by installation in the shift can be ordered by the concern JE E/M or Engr- in Charge as per the requirement. contractor has to deploy 01 FGM, 10 Mate FGM for 8 hrs shift duty daily as per direction / duty roster prepared for the FGM & Mate FGMs as specified and directed by concerned JE or Engr – in-Charge. The FGM/ Mate FGMs employed must be of proper Trade Engine Fitter or mechanic, duly ITI qualified having minimum 4 years experience. The FGM and Mate FGMs is deployed as per following shift:- (a) 1st shift 1200 Hrs to 0800 Hrs (b) 2 nd shift 0800 Hrs to 1600 Hrs (c ) 3 rd shift 1600 Hrs to 2400 Hrs

All as per Item No 1 above here in before but One Pipe Fitter in day shift only for attending the day to day complaint or repair/ Maint of complaints in the Cantt area as per complaint slip or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the time period of 1000 Hrs to 1800 Hrs including Sunday/Holiday and National Holidays. Pipe fitter employed must be of proper Trade Fitter/Plumber , duly ITI qualified having minimum 4 years experience

Note for Srl Item No 1.00 & 2.00 :- (i) The rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to be included for Employees state insurance as per existing rules @ 3.25%., Contribution of Bonus @ 8.33%, GST as per existing rules @ 18%. And LWC as per existing rules @ 1%. (ii) The uniform to the worker employed for summer and winter with safety shoes shall be provided by the contractor, the cost of uniform with shoes shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iii) The firm shall submit proof of payment given to workers and endorse a copy to Engineer-in-Charge, showing the details of payments, deductions (including all statutory deductions) & net amount with requisite challans in each case / person indicating PF number, ESI card etc.

(iv) Engineer-in-Charge will maintain the record of attendance in respect of the persons deployed by the Firm on the basis of which wages / remuneration will be decided in respect of the person at the approved and agreed rate. The firm shall be responsible to keep all records of payments, attendance, leaves etc. duly signed by the Engr-in-charge and endorse a copy of alll the documents with RAR/Final bill as applicable.

(v) The work shall be carried out as per Indian Electricity Rules. (vi) Contractor shall provide all tools, safety devices (hand gloves, tourach, discharge rod, safety belt etc), own communication system mobile phones. transportation facility like motorised two wheeler for attending complaint promplty. (vii) The installation shall be made free from shurbs, grass vegetation etc. and prunning /trimming of trees of pump houses of Roorkee, Purkazi & Saharanpur as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(viii) All the trademen/workmen shall be insured as per existing labour insurance policy and should be ITI with four year experiences. (ix) Required Spare parts will be measured and paid separately in relevant item of schedule. (x) The trademen/ workmen shall be in proper uniform when on duty. (xi) Contractor shall provide reliver duty at own cost. (xii) The contractor shall abide to all labour laws as updated time to time. (xiii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all above provisions.

(xvi) Pipe fitter will report to AGE E/M office Water Supply Complaint Cell at 0950 hrs and collect the water supply complaint of any type and rectify the same within 48 Hrs and submitt the same complaint slip to the office duly signed by concern user . Failure to rectify the complaint will be penalty of Rs 200.00 Per complaint Per day and same amount will be recovered from Contractor's RAR. (xvii) Necessary tool kit required for plumbing work will made available with pipe fitter including necessary safty equipemnt while climbing on building to attend the complaint realated to Over head Tank. Contractor is fully responsible for safty of pipe fitter working in the area. Department will not be responsible for any type of compensation to his employee in case of any mishappening or accidents with him . (xviii) Contrator is totally responsible for the safety of his employee working in the area. Supply only log sheet register for all 14 (Separate for each Installation per month) Water supply Pump House as per given format containing 33 pages for each month duly binded and numbered as per existing format. (01 No per Installation per month i.e. 14 X 11 Months = 54 Nos)

Supply only complaint slip comprising of 100 pages duly serially numbered in two half leaf perforated type on each page as per existing format and binded complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Developing the tube well using air compressure of 400 PSI and not less than 900 CFM and over pumping to give yield to make sand free water and testing the yield as specified for the first 40 hours by using air compressure incl proper arrangement for back pressure at 4 stage of coresand/gravel/ medium sand all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: All type of T & P and Transport required for the work is to be arranged by contractor him self and rates quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same.

S&F in replacement of sluice valve CI body, both ends flanged and drilled cast class PN-1 confirming to IS- 14846/2000 complete with gun metal spindle brass stem including necessary nut bolt etc including taking down of exsting, for the following sizes:- Make: L&T/Kalpana/Kirloskar

M&L for replacement of CI fittings such as Bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type,(straight, bend, increasing, decreasing, or double socket etc). Tee pieces, single branch, Y junction, double branch, cross (all socket or socket and spigot) collars, caps, tail pieces, flange and plugs upto 150mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Srl Item No 15.00 to 19.00 :- (i) The rate quoted by contractor shall be deemed to be included for earth work, excavation & returning refilling etc. all as directed at site.

Supply & filling incl packing around the assembly in the well Pea Gravel size 3mm to 6 mm all as specified and directed. Incl packing /filling during development to make up cavity a round the casing pipe. All as spd and directed

TTaking out existing Pump & M & L for assembling, installation, lowering of deep well Vertical Turbine or Submersible pump set assembly of capacity 10,000 – 30,000 gallon per hour in existing bore well after carrying out necessary repair / replacement work including connecting column pipes, line shaft with guide spiders and rubber bushes etc. duly installation, commissioning and connected with hollow shaft electric motor or submersible of any capacity including making all necessary adjustments and electric connections as required for satisfactory performance of the pump complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) All type of T & P and transport is to be arranged by the contractor for lifting and lowering of the Pump sets. (ii) All electrical connection of the motor shall be removed and than connected very carefully. (iii) Contractor shall carryout the repair forthwith after getting the massage from AGE E/M /JE E/M either verbal or telephonically. a sum of Rs 200.00 per day per pump shall be deducted from the contractor due payment on account of willfull delay on contractor part in the opinion of the Engr-in- charge. (iv) Spare parts will be measured and paid separatly.

M & L for cutting of line shaft of any size, in any length as per site requirement and rethreading the same complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting of 150/ 125/ 100 mm bore column pipes in required length and rethreading upto 80 mm from end complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of Cast iron impeller close type

Taking out existing non clogging defective deep well vertical turbine pump or centrifugal pump set assembly of any capacity from existing sewage sump including dismantling and removal of blockage from pipe, Non return valve, foot valve, vertical turbine pump etc., lowering of the same including testing after proper assembling, installation and commissioning of vertical turbine pumpor centrifugal pump set complete all as specified and directed.
