REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS, HARDSTANDING, ROAD BERMS, PATHS AND CULVERTS ETC UNDER AGE B/R-II IN ARMY AREA JODHPUR UNDER GE (ARMY) NO. 02

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400sqm, exceeding 50mm deep and not exceeding 100mm deep and removing the unserviceable materials/ debeirs not exceeding 50m and dispose off complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Preparing scarified road surfaces and / or unsurfased WBM surfaces of roads by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying by providing evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-30) viscosity using paving bitumen grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm manually or with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam mixed with paving bitumen @ 4% (by weight of total mix) binder content (VG-40 grade) viscosity grade any penitration laid manually or with mechanical pavers/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and chamber (consolidated thickness n.exc 75 mm) with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust & mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arounds edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in permix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed & sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder & sand) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Preparing black top surfaces of road with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming /tack coat with paving bitumen primer (VG-30) viscosity grade using paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm with mechanical sprayer and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents using paving bitumen (VG-40 viscosity grade) by weight of total mix, mixed in central computrized hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers and laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning the road surface of dirt, oil/grease spots and foreign materials etc and making strips, straight line, zebra crossing and stop lines by applying thermoplastic reflective paint as in roads marking of min 2.5mm thick single coat as in marking of 100/150 width using HOT Mark thermoplastic paint (HOT APPLICATION) white or golden yellow by indigenous mordern properly road marking machine as directed incl all ingradient such as binder glass beads shall titanium dioxide calcium corbonate inter filler thermoplastic required for glass beads complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note - Glass beads shall be "Potters" of England/UAE/Austria/ Astralia or Equivelent but not Chinese.

M&L for identification sign/cautionary mandatory and information sign board, area exceeding 1.00 Sqm but not exceeding 1.5 Sqm with 2 mm thick aluminium composite panel covered by encapsulated lens type retro reflective sheet (grade 3m type II diamond grade ) on both side with green base, fixed on and including stainless steel frame of size 25mm x 25mm and hang on 50mm dia stainless steel pipe (febrication work from SS 304 material) of height upto 2.00 metre from the natural ground level to top and post embedded in ground with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggragate of size 45cmX45cmX60cm including necessory excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Shape/Design of sign board as approved by GE. (ii) The letters and symbols etc., on both side shall be as per site requirement and as approved . The size and font of wording as per direction of GE.

S&F in repair Road safety polycarbonate convex traffic mirror 80cm dia, encased in ABS materials, highly visible orange colour/visor for outdoor type, weather proof, brackets with horizontal and vertical angle adjustment fixed in and including 2.10m high and 75mm dia GI pipe as stand, fixed in ground with 60cm x60cm x75 cm PCC block with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and including necessary form work, earth work excavation, removal of excess soil to a distance not exceeding 50m etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level including floor finishes and removing debris from the site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2, 75 mm thick (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in as in sub base of flooring complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; and cutting of paver blocks as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete. cushioning bed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, 75 mm thick (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in kerbs mud stops, rounded or chemfered on edges complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&LProviding and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L sand stone kerb of roughly squared stones of size 15cm x 30cm (each stone shall not be less than 45cm in length) all surfaces hammer dressed so that the max. depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 20mm jointed in CM(1:6) and struck flush including dismantling of old stone etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling in floors, road berm or pavings, laid in layers of 100 mm spread thickness, spread, levelled rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber including watering complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular solar delinator along the road all as and as directed and specified including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
