Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. (in pipes and pits) in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rock/where blasting prohibited) saturated soil stacking the excavated earth within all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of slip in all kind of soil including saturatged and but excluding boulders and roky portion required blasting upto a distance of 20 mtrs disposing of un-serviceable material stacking serviceable material complete in all respect

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches of MSERW bevelled edge flanged/butt welded pipes excluding cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 Grade L-290 or X-42 grade as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned there in code (mill tolerances to be restricted within 3%) a random length of 4m-7m. The M.S. flanges are to be provided 1% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date ame amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS. 816-1965 with electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos, and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965 & remaining 99% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, MS flanges and butt welded joint to be measured and paid for separately). The pipe shall have zinc coating inside and out side as per IS. 4736 in factory premises latest with upto date amendments.
