| 1.01a) M&L for lifting, transporting, handling the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc. including disconnecting core assembly from HT/ LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer. b) M&L for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container / drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse. c) M&L for cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles etc. from the bottom / body of the transformer with appropriate chemical solution and drying up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil. d) M&L for cleaning and washing thoroughly core and windings of the transformer by hosing down with clean dry oil conforming to IS 335/1983, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles from the windings / core, thorough inspection of windings, providing insulations to leads and terminals, heating / drying / baking complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as specified and as directed by Engr-in- charge. e) Lifting and re-fixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully, connecting primary / secondary / Neutral connections to the bushings assembly, fixing of tap change over including tightening of nuts, bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise all as directed. f) Refilling the filtered transformer oil in the shell of transformer complete. g) Re-fixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet / gasket 8mm thick, tightening of nuts / bolts / washers etc. and replacement of breather with silica gel crystal type all as directed by Engr-in charge h) Lifting / shifting to the place from where removed or to any location as directed and re-installing the transformer including connecting primary / secondary / neutral connections etc. all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. | 1.02j) The inspection of transformer shall involve:- i) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts. ii) Checking all brazing, joints, tap heads and connection joints. iii) Checking all jumpers, terminations / connections inside the transformer. iv) Checking the Buchholtz relay / conservator MOG if any. v) Painting complete with two coats of synthetic enamel paint externally transformer shell complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) Inspection of tap changer, checking the moving and fixed contacts for contact wear and connection to winding. k) Conducting the tests on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test results shall be signed both by the contractor and Engineer -in-Charge and kept on record. Note:- (i) Any damage to insulators / bushes / windings etc. while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to Department. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody. (ii) M&L for rewinding / re-insulation of HT / LT (primary / secondary) coils, bushes, studs, Transformer oil, cable box, replacement of buchholtz relay / MOG if any etc will be measured and paid separately. (iii) Necessary gate pass duly signed by all concerned i.e JE, Engr-in-Charge & contractor should be taken while lifting / before taken in to costody of contractor foe handling workshop for repair. Disconnecting the HT/LT connections of transformer of capacity 500 to 630 KVA i.e (Bus duct / Cable bunch) keeping all the cables out from the HT/LT sides, physically checking the transformer for healthiness, performing the transformer tests like HV/LV Meggar test, Ratio Test, Magnetic Balance test and short circuit tests for checking condition of transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) All testing shall be done in presence of Engr-in-Charge or his accredited rep and test reports shall be signed by contractor and Engr-in-Charge and kept on record. (ii) If the transformer found satisfactory then HT/LT connections shall be done by the contractor and has to charge the transformer. (iii) If the transformer fails in these tests then the contractor has to shift the transsformer for winding /overhauling which will be measured and paid separately. (iv) Cost of winding / overhauling if required shall be measured and paid separately.

Note:- The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of arrangement of necessary fault locator equipment, transportation of equipment & charges for service engineer.
M&L for repair and servicing of HT 11 KV four pole structure by replacing Aluminium PG clamps, GI bolts and nuts, pieces of ACSR conductor with insulation sleeve RYB of any size as jumpers including lubricating the moving parts of AB switch and cleaning of all disc and pin insulators and applying silicon compound for prevention of arcing due to dust / salt deposits over surfaces including preparation of surfaces, applying zinc chromate primer on rusted surfaces and applying one coat of aluminum paint to the entire structure complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Rate quoted shall be inclusive of two coats of white wash on exposed concrete surfaces of structure.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to earth lead of galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point including dismantling un-serviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A1 cover slab, 50 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 140 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 m length, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 40 mm bore GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.
S&F in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead using 32 x 6 mm galvanised iron strip, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.
All as per Sl item no. 94.00 above but 32 x 6 mm copper strip
M&L for taking down 11KV, 630 Amp RMU, transporting to workshop (OEM Factory) from sub station, opening gas chamber, supply & filling of SF6 gas, sealing back gas chamber & re-assembling by authorised technical rep of OEM, bringing back RMU to site safely and re-installing the same including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate qouted against this items shall be deemed to include cost of transportation of RMU for both sides.
