PHASE – I [Schedule "A" Part – I]: [Supply and Installation of 01 Elevator]

Supply, install, testing & commissioning passengers lift, speed 1.5 metre/sec, lift with single speed motor 415 Volts, 3 Phase, AC, 50 Hz Supply confirming to IS - 14665, suitable to serve 8 Passengers [544 KGs] 4 Floors i.e. G + 3 Upper Floors with AC VVVF Drive [Variable Voltage & Variable Frequency Drive], regenerative type [Closed Loop], Automatic & Manual dual controlled operation with/without attendant, centre opening doors with door drive [electric motor driven mechanism], sliding stainless steel doors, with moon rock finish of 16 gauge with view glass panel automatic rescue device [ARD] system, 3D infra red sensor in full height of door & built in announcing system without hand set [04 Nos., one each in Car, Machine room & near Ground floor landing door] complete all as specified Inclusive Equipment / Machinery Earthing of GI Plate 600x600x6mm by using aluminium strip 32x6 of size as per SSR specifications up to Earth pit & Equipment. Dimension of lift well and distance between floor to floor shall be all as shown on drawings. Note: The lift shall be provided with and including the following: [a] Fireman Switch [b] Automatic Rescue Device during power failure including manual operation provision with suitable capacity of battery designed for running the lift with full load. [c] Battery operated Emergency Light [CFL Ceiling Fitting] alarm [speaker for emergency alarm system to be fixed] and stop button in car with reachable arrangement for battery. [d] Suitable Nos LED Light Fittings in False Ceiling

[e] Provision of false ceiling with 7 watt LED lights and 12mm [minimum] granite flooring for lift car over suitable thickness of aluminium chequered sheet. [f] Nonstop button/independent operation. [g] Over load warning indicator visual type [h] Front landing door of stainless steel moon rock finish, operations with a minimum time of 10 sec and up to a maximum time of 30 seconds. [i] Car size shall be in conformity with IS 14665 and body to be stainless steel of 16 gauge moon rock finish with stainless steel hand rail. [j] Set of three in number limit switches at the bottom and top most position of lift hoist ways as specified in IS. [k] Stainless steel hand rail 38mm hairline finish. [l] Specification plate [m] Continuous earthing for machine and equipment [n] Wire rope of adequate size as per relevant IS and as per manufacturers specification. [o] Other standard fixtures and fittings like rails, sheaves, counter weights with guards, buffers, gear unit, brackets, control panel, power control and trailing cables complete all as per latest IS specifications. [p] Lift design, specifications, drawings, manufacturers instructions shall be got approval from Accepting Officer before placing order for procurement. [q] Car Door & Landing Door opening in Moon rock finish [16 Gauge thick] with vision panel of size 200 X 1200mm with Toughened Glass of 8mm thick.

Supplying, laying and testing XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, FRLS, armoured heavy duty underground cable, ISI marked with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade of size 4 Core, 25 Sq.mm cross section suitable for earthed system, laying in trenches / duct / fixed to poles / drawn through pipes / sleeving through pipe in duct, including suitable size Double compression copper stainless steel cable gland, crimping type cable lugs, sockets etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MCCB, FP, 63 Amps, 16 KA, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, suitable for fixing on N3 Frame complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with Galvanised Steel Earth Plate Electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick burried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level] with top edge of Plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to 32 X 6mm GI Strip [Earth Lead] and GI pipe 50 mm, Medium Grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5m, Earth Plate Electrode surrounded by 150mm thick packed layers of Charcoal and Common Salt filled in alternate layers, connected to the Plate by means of GI Bolts & Nuts complete all as per Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I, connected to panel / DB including testing on completion including main earthing, Charcoal, Common Salt, PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC 1:2:4, Type B1 Cover, 50 mm thick with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia TMT bars in both ways, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS Funnel with 20 mm bore, medium grade GI Watering pipe, wire mesh, earth work excavation, return filling, removal of surplus soil etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

PHASE – II [Schedule "A" Part – II]: Comprehensive Maintenance of Passenger Lift as Provided Under This Contract as per Serial Item No. 01 of This BoQ/Schedule "A" Part – I for Three Years After Successful Completion of Defect Liability Period of Work under Phase – I]:

M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 5 Passengers [544 KGs] Capacity, serving G+3 Floors, all as specified under Serial Item No. 01 of BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for First Year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 5 Passengers [544 KGs] Capacity, serving G+3 Floors, all as specified under Serial Item No. 01 of BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Second Year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Comprehensive Maintenance of Electrically Operated Passenger Lifts of 5 Passengers [544 KGs] Capacity, serving G+3 Floors, all as specified under Serial Item No. 01 of BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Third Year after expiry of Defects Liability Period complete and all as specified in Particular Specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

[e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Andhra Pradesh once in Contract Period for worthiness of the Lift in respect of safety. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [f] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [g] Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all Lift Mechanics and Helpers. [h] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. [i] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. The contractor shall also insure the workmen employed on the job. [j] The contractor is responsible for Insurance, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall be paid to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same.

[k] INSURANCE AND DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour uniform with labels showing the Name of Firm and the Designation and "GE [U-II] [V]" printed on them along with protective clothing. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [l] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. [m] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM. [n] MINIMUM MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall be required to employ the One Lift Mechanic per Shift of 08 Hours from 0900 Hours to 1700 Hours and shall report to Office of AGE [E/M] for day to day maintenance and efficient operation of Lifts.
