Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
Excavation of soil using hydraulic excavator of 0.90cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and disposed of the excavated earth, transporting to the embankment location including loading and unloading with all lifts and leads within airport premises excluding the survey work as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (ref. MORTH Specification section-301)
Construction of embankment with available excavated earth deposited at site from other locations with spreading, neatly leveling/ grading and compacting layer by layer to achieve the desired levels and compactions to meet the requirement of table 300-2 of MORTH specification etc. complete in all respects excluding the survey work as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.(ref. MORTH Specification section-305)
Carrying out Topographical and contour surveying, traversing , contouring & coordinating all permanent and semi-permanent feature by Total station survey instrument and Auto Level as required including mobilization and demobilization of the survey team after completion of survey work at Airport premises of operational area and newly acquired in different plots as per direction of the Engineer in-charge. The following steps shall be taken up: i) Carrying out site survey and taking reduced level 3m x 3m grid. ii) Submission of sets of contour map in suitable scale and size with marking import ants (3 (three) nos. coloured hard copies & 1(one)soft copy. iii) Submission of level sheet in Excel format (Hard copy & soft copy) with quantity calculation for cutting & filling earth as per the gradient which shall be decided by the Engineer in charge. iv) The requisite all survey works for execution of earthwork, quantity work out for Running/Final Bill shall also be included in the scope of survey work.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering (a) All work up to plinth level (i) 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced Cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Providing and submitting the preliminery drawings, carrying out structural design, preparation of detailed structural drawing and developing working architectural drawing. This item also includes carrying out necessary soil investigation works. In which the design to be done for the proposed work. The structural design and drawings shall be got vetted by IIT/NIT/Govt. Engineering colleges. The design and drawing so submitted shall be got approved by Engineer in charge before execution of work. After approval of structural design and drawing by AAI 5 (Five) set of "Good for Construction" design and drawing showing all relevant details shall be submitted duly signed by the consultant. Consultant shall also submit any other details required relevant to the scope and completion of work. (a) For all RCC Structures

Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified size to WBM specifications including spreading in uniform thickness, hand picking rolling with 3 wheeled road/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density.
Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. Isolating Transformer housing box, water light round type, metal container of outside size 330 mm, height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick, cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate on the top and underground housing associated with transformer power cable and having 2nos both side 50mm dia clear hole centre (each180 degree apart) at 75 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive 02 nos 50 mm diameter HDPE pipe and check nut as required. The box should have two SS earth bolt of M 10 x 40 tapped inside near the holes (4" away from the hole centre) and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15 mm diameter, 'B' class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 Nos. M 10 tapped hole at the hole centre 260 mm to receive fitting base plate and bolts complete with neoprine rubber gasket for the top covers as required as per the drawing & specifications.
Supply of C.I. Collar suitable for mounting installing on the existing transformer housing box, made out of water tight round type metal container of outside size 330 mm diameter and upto 175mm height (as per site requirement), 10 mm thick all round except on the top surface which is 15 mm thick and a clear opening of 220 mm diameter at the top as well as bottom having 6 Nos. x M-10 tapped hole along the circumferential centre of 260 mm diameter top/bottom plate to receive bolts as required as per the drawing & specifications. total 12nos of SS bolts shall be provided to fix the collar and light fixture. the housing box should have 2 nos. clear hole (01 nos in each opposite side) of 50mm dia suitable to receive 50 mm dia HDPE pipe and check nuts as required. The housing box should be complete with neoprine rubber gasket for the top covers, painting with Anti-corrosive primers and paint inside and outside etc. as per drawing and specification complete as required.
Supply of 1 x 16 Sq. mm 5 KV grade single core, multistranded annealed plain copper conductor, underground, unscreened, unarmoured XLPE insulated and PVC outer sheathed,anti-rodent and anti-termite treated Airfield Lighting Cable generally confirming to IS 7098 Part II with up to date amendments etc. complete as required.
Supply of of 5 KV grade, 16 sq. mm size plug and receptacle of type I class "B" connector suitable for field attachment with 5 KV grade of PVC/XLPE insulated PVC sheathed single core copper conductor Airfield Lighting cable conforming to the relevant IS specification etc. complete as required.

Dismantling of Bi-directional/unidirectional, ELEVATED type of RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT/ TURNING PAD LIGHT/ THRESHOLD LIGHT/WING BAR LIGHT and its supporting pipe fitting etc. from the base plate, isolating transformers from transformer housing box after opening the base plate and M10 size SS/MS hardware etc., and stacking in AAI store.
Dismantling of INSET type of RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT fitting etc., from the Runway surface including disconnection and removing its secondary lead of length up to 60 meters from the runway surface after properly removing the compound, making good the damages and stacking in AAI store.
Re-Installation of Bi-directional/unidirectional, ELEVATED type of RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT/ TURNING PAD LIGHT/ WING BAR LIGHT etc., complete fittings on the existing base plate, installation of isolation transformer, interconnection, testing, commissioning including thoroughly cleaning the fixtures and its accessories, before installation i/c providing extension support pipe of cast aluminum/aluminum of 65 mm diameter size to raise the height of elevated Approach light to match with the new central runway surface etc. as required.
Re-installation of Bi-directional/unidirectional, INSET type of RUNWAY EDGE/THRESHOLD light fittings , installation of isolating transformer, interconnection, testing, commissioning including thoroughly cleaning the fixtures and its accessories before installation laying of secondary lead in length up to 50 mtrs. including core/groove cutting of the hard standing and fixing the fitting using quick setting sealant compound etc. complete as required.
Earthing with G.I pipe of 4.5 meters long x 40 mm diameter i/c accessories and providing masonry enclosures with cover plate having locking arrangement, watering pipes etc., including charcoal or coke and salt complete as required.
Providing and fixing 6 SWG GI wire along with cable for loop earthing as required.
