WATERPROOFING TREATMENT TO LIFT PITS

M&L for cleaning of surface thoroughly with brush, remove all dust, dirt, foreign particles, fungi etc by using wire brushes and pneumatic tools, degrease the surface by using suitable solvents and removing all corrosion deposits and loose scales, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing 10 mm dia grouting nipple upto 75 mm depth by drilling 12 mm bore hole and fixing in cement mortar at 600 mm c/c, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for injection grouting with Dr FIXIT Epoxy Injection Grout, mixing the hardener & resin and injecting the same, complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, specified and directed. (The injection pressure should be atleast 0.2N/Sqmm (2 bar).

M&L for applying 10 mm thick rendering of mortar prepared by mixing Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP, Cement, Graded sharp and washed sand and water in the composition 10 Litre Pidicrete URP, 50 Kg cement, 150 Kg Graded sharp and washed sand and 6 litres of water), complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, specified and directed.

M&L for applying 2 coats of Dr Fixit Fastflex by adding the two components to make a consistent slurry and applying the same with brush, roller or trowel in 2 coats at right angle to each other @1.80 Kg/Sqm with intercoat application time of 6-8 hours, complete all as per manufacturer's instructions, specified and directed. (Note for item Nos 3.00 to 6.00: - (i) In lieu of Dr Fixit, contractor may alternatively use equivalent chemicals of FOSROC/SIKA/STP/Thermax Ltd. subject to prior approval of GE without any price adjustment. (ii) These items shall be executed only through Authorised applicator of manufacturer of waterproofing Chemicals and certificate of authorised applicator for the same shall be furnished by the contractor. (iii) Contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for effectiveness of waterproofing treatment for a period of ten years.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on the fair faces of treated brick masonry/concrete surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.
