S&F in location Engineering plastic signage boards / link boards, single sided, with writings / signs / arrows with retro-reflective sheetings of approved type and colour, made of hard plastic or perplex sheet 4 to 5mm thick of approved colour and type, duly framed in with aluminium strip of suitable sizes as required, mounted up on adequate number of legs of minimum height of 3'6" made out of specialised frangible material, weather proof, suitable to withstand extreme cold, extreme heat and high velocity wind pressure, etc. complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes: Notes: (i) Quoted rate shall be deemed to include the following:- (a) Excavations for post holes (of min size 400x400x600mm) in any type of soil as required at site, including filling in and removal of excess soil. (b) Duly embedding legs of boards into PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates upto GL. (ii) Writings / alphabets / letters / dashes / arrows, etc. shall be of different sizes, types, etc. as per requirement of AF Authorities.

M&L for Preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blowers to remove all loose dirt etc complete and M&L for applying cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) by spraying with machine of total cold liquid PME 1.00 lit per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME :WATER) and ensure uniform finish of PME on runway complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for this item :- (a) Due care shall be taken for friction parameters during application of PME as per ICAO standard. After application of PME contractor will make necessary arrangement for procurement of Portable Skid Resistance Tester (PSTR) and carry out necessary testing as directed without accruing any extra cost to the Govt. (b) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only. (c) Care shall be taken to fill gaps/cracks up to 3mm size with mineral filler as per manufacturer’s instructions. (d) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work and amount of 2.5% of the total amount of item shall be retained from the RAR/Final Bill. However contractor can submit FDR of the subject amount in favour of GE (AF) Ambala and the said amount shall be released in the RAR/Final Bill

M&L for preparation of newly untreated or old treated horizontal concrete or bituminous surfaces exceeding 10 cm width or girth with wire brushes etc and painting lines dashes strips circles and other markings with one coat of water thinnable/matt finished road marking paint white/orange/yellow/black or any other colour as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repair to damaged broken edges of existing cement concrete slabs of taxi track by cutting to a depth 10 to 50 mm, cleaning the surface and remove loose material, dust by blowers of rubbish to a distance exceeding 50 m but not exceeding 100m and applying evenly a coat of dencote 601 epoxy rich primer with sealer and filling in with Epoxy Re-sign den patch compond complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repair to cracks of existing bituminous surfaces of taxi tracks by cutting to a width of 10 to 25 mm and 30 to 50 mm deep by mechanical cutters etc cleaning with air compressor to remove all loose particle, dust etc and filling with epoxy tar compound as per manufacturer's instructions and disposing all rubbish / refuse to a distance exceeding 50m but not exceeding 100m complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cleaning the both sides and bottom and top of storm water drain of runway, by removing of all vegetation, roots, grass etc., and removal of the spoil outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for taking out old sealing compound grade 'B' etc and cleaning, removing dirt/loose foreign materials etc with compressor air blower from any type of joints and of any thickness and any depth of taxi tracks and runways with a raker, coir brush etc and filling joint with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimum above back up rod) including two coats of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup rod of dia 25% more than the width of joint placed over existing joint filler board in position, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces and to give neat finish to the sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required, etc complete all as specified and as directed for the following width of joints:- Notes: (i) Minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) shall be +30% conforming to the requirements as stipulated in BS: 5212 BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 (ii) Hydrolysis / water resistance test shall be catered as per relevant IS (iii) Joints dismantled, cleaned and filled as above shall bear a performance guarantee of minimum 10 years from the date of completion. The contractor has to submit the said guarantee in Rs 100 non-judicial stamp paper to the Accepting Officer (iv) An amount @ 10% of the cost of joint filling shall be retained from the final bill till completion of above guarantee period. The contractor may submit FDR of equal amount in favour of the Aceepting Officer for the purpose. (v) Filling work shall be done as per manufacturer's instruction and as specified (vi) All rubbish / retrieved materials shall be disposed off to a distance exceeding 100 m but not exceeding 500 m including necessary cartage etc as required
