Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas (exc 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with exc 8 tonne and n. exc 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Laying & compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade-I as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the maximum dry density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specificaitons for Road and Bridge work 2013, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Laying & compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75mm each & grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The fiished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Applying evenly a priming coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder content with paving bitumen of VG-10 grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete, using roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen of VG-10 with 4% binder content laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50mm), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material exc. 50m but n exc. 250m and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed

Cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972 fixed with and incl MS Stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Stone kerb factory made of roughly squared stones of size 20cmx30cm, dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 6mm for top and exposed surfaces of sides and 20mm for the rest of surfaces jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and struck flush, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, mass filling , sub base and the like, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete 1:3:6, type-C-1 as in block masonary with solid blocks (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) exc. 10cm in width and setting in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Rendering 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortor (1:4) finished even & fair without using extra cement on brick/concrete surfaces.

Providing Cement concrete in surface channels and drains (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing precast Cement concrete in coping (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates and setting in CM 1:4, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

450mm dia Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material exc. 250 m but n exc. 500 m and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
