M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm×6.0mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron or steel and connected to main switch board or equipment, including watering arrangement with GI medium grade 20mm bore watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh with PCC chamber CI cover with frame including 15mm dia GI pipe light grade for protection of earthing lead etc including necessary excavation in any type of strata, returning, filling, removal of soil outside MD land, filling of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Sch Part I, connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. Notes :- (i) Earth continuity conductor including protection pipe upto 7.5 meters from earth electrode will be include in unit rate, (ii) Arrangement for earth resistance test should be carried out by the contractor. No extra payment shall be provided for the same.

M&L for submain wiring comprising single core ,2 Runs of 6.0 sqmm nominal cross sectional area multi stranded FRLS copper conductor cable, PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts grade drawing in and including min 2mm thick PVC Casing Caping ISI Marked (heavy duty) and its fittings on surface/recessed complete including 1X6.0 sqmm nominal cross sectional area multi stranded FRLS copper conductor cable, PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts grade as earth wire and using color code as per IS including taking down old UNSV submain wiring and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- Extra length of cables/ wire required for connection to MCBs shall not be measured and the rate quoted by contractor for per unit shall be deemed accordingly)
