Note: i) All debris , unserviceable items shall be removed from site and disposede off outside INA Area. Loading, Unloading , staking and transportation charges are included in relevent items of taking down or demolition / dismatling. A recovery of Rs 5000/ load will be levied off from the contractor if any debris/ salvage material is found dumped inside INA area. ii) The work shall be executed on slope roof/ flat roof upto a height of 18m. Contractor should ensure the safety of labour and should adhere to the safety precautions while working in elevated places/ roof tops. iii) Old MP tiles & ridges obtained from item No.1 shall be re-fixed at any other buildings roof upto a distance 5 KM. Transportation charges are included against relevant item for fixing. (iii) Contractor should submit guarantee of 5 years for Acrylic cementitious water proofing coating (Dr Fixit Pidiffin 2k) vide item no 06, waterproofing treatment on roof surfaces using Dr Fixit Roof seal classic vide item No 07 and water proofing treatment on external surfaces using Dr Fixit Rain coat vide item no 10, The work item Nos 06 & 10 should be done through authorized company applicator , necessary certificates of authorised applicator has to be submitted by contractor before commencement of work. (iv) Contractor should procure entire qty required for item No's 06, 07 & 11 as per CA qty at a time or in various consignemnts as per requirement (with minimum requirement of three months) and material shall be stored in covered godown /store room in such a manner as to prevent deterioration or any damage. The storage, accounting and preservation of material procured by the contractor shall be done as per standard engineering practice till the same is incorporated in the work and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate/amount quoted by the tenderer. (v) The contractor shall submit original purchase vouchers for the total quantity of material to be incorporated in the work.

Dismantling single layer of Mangalore pattern tiles/laminated tiles in roofing/ ceiling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work/Aluminium sections of any description not otherwise provided complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel / PVC sheeting of any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 using water proofing compound as per manufacturers instruction complete and finishing the surface fair and even complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- water proofing compound will be meausred and paid separately.

Material and labour for two coats of Acrylic cementitious water proofing coating (Dr Fixit Pidiffin 2k) after preparation of existing concrete/plastered surfaces including removal of all fungal/algae etc complete all as per manufacturer instruction and as directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note: Item shall be executed through authorised applicator of Dr Fixit and contractor has to submit necessary documents of applicators duly authorised by Dr Fixit/ approved equivalent make with similar specification.

Material and labour for two coats Dr Fixit roof seal classic water proofing coat at rate of application of 2.00 to 2.25 Sqm/Litre/each coat over a coat of self priming at the rate of application of 9-10 sqm/litre/coat of complete as per manufacturer instruction and as directed by Engr-in-charge Note: Item shall be executed through authorised applicator of Dr Fixit and contractor has to submit necessary documents of applicators duly authorised by Dr Fixit/ approved equivalent make with similar specification.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified. Make: ROFFEE HYPROOF of Roffee construction chemicals pvt.ltd/ Conplast PROLAPIN 421 IC of FOSROC chemicals/Pidilite LW+ or equivalent make approved by GE.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/ PCC block wall or stone walls etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or stone work concrete surfaces in CM (1:4) in patches or narrow widths complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Item is required to be done in narrow widths and patches at height upto 10 m from GL, rate quoted is deemed to be included for all necessary scaffolding and safety measures required to do works at the above heights

Taking down cement plaster from the joints between MP tiles and wall faces, making faces of wall surfaces rough, applying cement slurry of 3 kg/sqm, 20 mm thick and 15 to 20 cm wide plastering with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with liquid waterproofing compound of 200 ml/50 kg of cement, applying two coats Dr Fixit roof seal classic water proofing coat at rate of application of 2.00 to 2.25 Sqm/Litre/each coat over a coat of self priming at the rate of application of 9-10 sqm/litre/coat of complete as per manufacturer instruction and directed by Engr-in-charge .

Demolition of cement mortar fillets/ reapers for manglore tiles on roof

Material and labour for cement mortar fillets/ reapers at spacing as per size of manglore tiles in CM 1:2 for fixing manglore tiles all as specified and directed including demolition of damaged fillets/reapers

Material and labour for fixing roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking tiles any size as directed laid dry complete all specified and as directed.

All as per item No 15.00 above but fixed with cement mortar 1:3 all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in lime mortar 1:3 or cement mortar 1:6 complete all sepecified and as directed.

Material and labour for scrapping and cleaning the joints/ cracks in between stone cladding /any type of wall and applying Asian paints smartcare hybrid PU sealent and finished smooth and matching with existing surface complete all as manufacturers instruction and directed by Engr In Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the tiles and applying two coats of antifungal tile guard paint of approved colour complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as specified.

Material and labour for scrapping down the existing treatment on walls by rubbing,washing etc and applying two coat of acrylic emulsion interior grade over a coat of primer over three coat of putty mixed with Dr Fixit 302 Super Latex over a coat of Asian paints smart care damp proof as thick paste all as specified by manufacturer.

Supply and fix 0.50mm thick Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of approved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified complete all as specified and as directed at any height. The rates shall be inclusive of necessary scoffolding also.

Supply and fix 0.5 mm thick Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of approved colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall,ridge etc fixed with self tapping screws , rivetting with existing roof sheets/ valley gutters, bolting on to parepat walls etc complete as specified at any height. The rates shall be inclusive of necessary scoffolding also.
