Manning and Operation of RIMC Pump House No 1 and 2 and Swimming pool RIMC and certain repair/ replacement of E/M water supply installation of swimming pool under AGE E/M-I of GE Dehradun

Providing services for daily manning and operation of plant fitted with pressure filter, centrifugal pumping sets and other machinery of swimming pool at RIMC of size 50x21M and diving pool 16x16M, Cleaning of swimming pool and diving pool bottom surface by operation of suction sweeper and cleaning of swimming pool area in side boundary wall in two shifts per day during summer season by deploying 01 operator (skilled) in each shift as mentioned below, including Sundays and holidays from the date of commencement of work/handing taking over of installation between contractor and department, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (i) Pressure water filter capacity 250 Cum - 2 Nos with all fittings and valves, Centrifugal pumping sets of capacity 25 HP 55000 GPH- 3 Nos, Chloronome plant 500g/hr capacity- 01 No, Alum dozer (pressure feed type)- One No, Soda ash dozer (Pressure feed type) = 01, Bleaching powder dozer (pressure feed type)- 01 No, Air blower of 7.1/2 HP capacity – 01 No (ii) Total Nos of units : 01 intallation x 240 days x 02 Shifts = 480 Shifts (iii) The plant shall be handed over after onset of summer season as decided by Engineer-in-charge. (iv)Shift 01- 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs (v) Shift 02-1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs

Providing services for daily manning and operation of plant and machinery of RIMC pump house No 1 & 2 (old & new tubewell) for 11 months concurrently in three shifts per day by deploying 01operator (skilled) in each shift as mentioned below, including Sundays and holidays from the date of commencement of work/handing taking over of installation between contractor and department, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (i) Tube well, Chlorine Plant, Chemical dosing plant, DG Set, Valves and other accessories Installed at pump house. (ii) Total Nos of units : 01 intallation x 334 days x 03 Shifts = 1002 (Pump house No 1 & 2 both shall be treated as one installation)

Notes item No 1 & 2 : (i) The rate quoted for items of outsourcing shall include minimum wages as notified by Government of India/ concerned State Government /Local Body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates for contribution of employer towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective headings/ sub itmes.

(ii) The prevailing rate/wage/contribution shall be as applicable on the bid submission end date.

Notes (Contd). (a) The pump houses shall be operated round the clock for three shifts in a day including holidays & Sundays with one operators (skilled) in each shift. (b) The swimming pool shall be operated for two shifts in a day including holidays & Sundays with one operators (skilled) in each shift during summer season as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (c) The operators employed shall be ITI qualified with minimum of 05 years working experience on similar type of installations.

(d) The operators deployed shall be well conversant with water treatment plant and shall be responsible for any normal maintenance of existing water treatment installations including DG sets. (e) Operators shall be responsible for proper recording of all operating parameters and test results of chlorine in treated water in the prescribed log sheet /register all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(f) In case of absence of an operator during a shift, payment of that shift shall not be made. (g) In addition to deduction of payment as above a panelty of Rs. 1500/- per shift shall be levied for absent period. (h) The rates quoted by the contractor shall include employment of a reliever as per labour law and nothing extra shall be paid on this account . (j) Contractor will be responsible for timely collection of chemicals, POL, Engine Oil from MES Store Yard as and when required. (k) The rate also include regular greasing and oiling of pump sets, motors gland packing for pump sets. However, other repairs/maint store required shall be measured and paid separately. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete security of the plant including necessary watch and ward, maintenance of garden lawn etc.

M&L for Pumping out water from the RIMC swimming pool of size 50x21M, Diving Pool 16x16 and 6 M deep, Lime tank and Balancing tank (fresh water inflow tank), Bleaching tank etc by using pumpset, removing the sediments and mud, algae and cleaning the walls, floors, ducts, channels, surface of glazed tiles, painted and cemented surfaces by using scrappers, brushes, and other mechanical equipments, washing the surfaces with clean water and applying Hydrochloric acid and other detergents and drying in open all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact condition of the swimming pool before quoting the rate.

Cleaning of RIMC new swimming pool 6,67,000 Gallon capacity, Diving and shallow pool with suction sweeper including cleaning the floor and walls of swimming pool using nylon brushes (one day before suction sweeping) all as specified and directed.

Notes item No 3 & 4 as per Contd/.. (a) The item shall include all type of scaffolding, supports, ladders, platforms etc. and safety equipments required for working in the sumps. (b) Internal surface of the tank after washing and cleaning shall be got approved from the Engr-in-Charge before carring out further treatment. (c) The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact location, depth and condition of the sumps before quoting the rate.

S&F in replacement, high density synthetic float ball of size 6” (150mm) with double hook for suction sweeper, all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement, flexible hose, ribbed type, high density, 40mm size, all as specified and directed. Make:- Dinoflex or equivalent.

S&F in replacement, Nylon brush of size 700x100 mm, for suction sweeper all as specified and directed.

M&L for spray painting after scrapping of old dull paint from the surface and cleaning the surface properly and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a one coat of red oxide primer for the following:- Make: First quality of Asian / Nerolac / Berger.

(a) Pump/motor set of 10 to 20 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc.complete.

(b) Pump/motor set of 25 to 40 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc. complete.

(c) Pump/motor set of 50 to 75 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc. complete.

(d) Pump/motor set of 125 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc. complete.

(e) Pump/motor set of suction sweeper (2.0 / 3.0 HP set) with trolly and base frme and connected metallic parts etc. complete.

S&F mild steel water tubing as in column pipe, 100mm bore medium grade of thickness 4.5mm, ISI marked, conforming to relevent IS for column pipe in required length but length not more than 3mtr, both end flanged internally threaded and duly welded with pipe uisng 4Nos MS Strips of size 20x3mm with provision of 04 Nos holes and 01 No. side slot for passing submersible cable on both flanged end, including painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Taking down centrifugal pumping set of capacity 25HP/20HP from base frame including disconnection from coupling and shifting to workshop for repair and opening dismantling and overhauling complete parts, all parts cleaned by Kerosene oil neatly with and including replacement of defective spare parts by new parts including necessary welding machining/grinding work and nut, bolts, washer, studs if required at the time of refitting of spare into pump set and re-shifting, reinstallation on base frame with proper alignment with motor and testing on full discharge of following capacity complete all as specified & directed. Note : Supply only of Spare parts required to be replaced during repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective item here-in-after. However fixing element shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of this itme.

Supply, jointing and testing 50 Sqmm, 3 Core, flat submersible Cable, PVC insulated, PVC sheathed with multi-stranded copper conductors, conforming to IS : 694- 1990 of 1100 Volt grade, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge incuding taking out unservicable cable. (Make Finolex / Havells / Polycab/Plaza/)

Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well ( up to 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

(ii) Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 40. The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes shall be measured & paid separately.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, welding , etc of broken steel sections of pump, reassembling the Pump & motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for 40 to 70 HP capacity, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 HZ, AC supply pumps & motors of make KSB/SU/CALAMA/KIRLOSKAR. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these items. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding.

(iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of pumps/ motors to workshop for necessary repairs. (iv) The rate quoted for the item shall include re-metaling of Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to match with Bush/Neck-ring/ sleeve etc (v) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (vi) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers, keys for coupling, cable packing ring etc.
