Renovation of Ironite flooring, plastering and painting of pump shed at WRPL Gauridad Pump Station

Demolishing P.C.C. work in existing building structures at all heights and depths using pnuematic tools or as approved by Engineer-in- charge including following all safety requirements, ensuring adequate precaution to the neighbourhood structures & equipment, putting necessary cover , and disposal of unserviceable material within station area limit all complete as directed by Site Engineer. Note: 1. Dismantling shall be allowed during day shift only & prior permission for the same shall be obtained. 2. Providing of necessary covers/barricades around the work area is to be done prior to dismantling operations.

Providing and laying 52mm thick cement concrete flooring with metallic hardner, underlayer of 37mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement:2 coarse sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and top layer of 15mm thick metallic concrete hardner consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement:2 stone aggregate 6mm nominal size) by volume with which metallic hardening compound such as IRONITE NO.1 of IRONITE CO. OF INDIA LTD. or aproved equivalent mixed in the ratio 4:1( 4 parts of cement:1 part of metallic floor hardening compound of approval quality) by weight, inclusive of cost of finishing, labour, material, equipment, etc.as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Extra over above for use of IRONITE NO. 3 (Metallic Dry Shade) in lieu of top layer of IRONITE NO.1, (for pigment colour shade, authentic shade card must be used from IRONITE CO.OF INDIA LTD.as per directions of EIC.

Providing & laying in position Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) of specified grade at all depths in foundation, floor or other places including ramming, dewatering, providing centering, shuttering, staging, scaffolding, compacting with mechanical vibrator, removal of form work, finishing, curing with water, etc., inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. complete in all respects as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Site Engineer. 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and laying 6" dia half precast open drain of PCC on sides of road in cement mortar mixture of 1:4 and for drainage of water with appropriate slope including excavation/Road Cutting of earth

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth including curing, labour, materials, etc. complete.In Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing 15 mm thick plaster to internal & external walls at all heights/depths with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 fine sand) finished smooth/rough including raking out joints, rounding off and chamfering corners, making drip course moulding, roughening of brick surface, curing for etc. complete as per specifications.

Providing 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) with cement mortar to soffits of slab, sides of beams, columns faces and all exposed concrete surfaces at all heights roughening of concrete surface including rounding off and chamfering corners, curing etc. complete as per specifications.

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade : Oldwork (Two or more coats [email protected]/10sqm) over existing cement paint surface.

Applying priming coat : including blister removalby wire brush, smoothening surface by sand papering etc complete with all labour and materials complete in all respects

With ready mixed redoxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

One or more coats on old work

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarses and, filling the joints with lines and etc. allcomplete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Chequered pre cast cement concrete tiles 22mm thick in footpath & courtyard, jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles, including rubbing and cleaning etc. complete, on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar1:4 (1cement:4coarse sand).:Light shade pigment using white cement

Painting the new hoarding board with 2 coats of red oxide and 2 coats of sythetic enamel paint of approved colour, shade and quality etc. as directed including painting of IOC monogram and art work/slogan /messages of any letter size/type etc. complete as directed.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system(cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining withcup & lock system with M.S.tubes , M.S.tubechallies ,M.S.clamps and M.S.staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. andmaintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter.The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of the Engineer-in-Charge.The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. (Note:This item to be used for maintenance work judicially ,necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.)

Supplying and placing in position 5.0 mm thick steel chequered plates over cable ducts, valve pits etc.including provision for lifting arrangements complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fabricating and erecting including embedding in RCC/ PCC in position MS structural steel section such as angle, tees, channels, beams and other standard sections, painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint of 25microns DFT each over a coat of Red Oxide steel primer of 25micron DFT including cleaning the surface of mill scales, rusts, oil, grease and weld slags etc. by hand cleaning, welding as per IS 800, including the cost of all materials, transportation, welding, labour, tools, tackles, consumables, power etc. complete in all respects as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge/ Site Engineer. The item shall be paid for in Metric Tonne.

Providing corrugated G.S. sheet roofingincluding vertical / curvedsurfacefixed with polymer coated'J'or'L'hooks,bolts and nuts 8mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I.limpet washers filled with white lead, including a coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved paint on overlapping of sheets complete (upto any pitch in horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required. 1.00 mm thick with zinc coating not less than 275 gm/sq.m.
