OD4973/2025-2026:LS provision shall govern for the splicing and testing of fiber optic cable in designated locations, Fusion Splices that are made between cable and pigtails (vice versa) shall be tested with an optical light source and OTDR. Each spliced fiber shall be packaged in a protective sleeving or housing and the maximum allowable loss shall not exceed 0.3 dB or nearest to be noticed. Note: All splicing kits, fiber optic cable caps, moisture/water sealants, terminators and accessories shall be provided by the Contractor.

OD43110/2025-2026:LS provision for minor electrification and items such as three phase socket, High earth impedance unit and circuit breaker (dual pole for output), appropriate stranding class of cables and conduit etc. need to be procured if necessary and it should be as per the norms of PWD.
