Repairs to the VT-Pumping equipment Unit-I of the Baghichatkak Lift Irrigation Schemes of MISD Sopore.

Cost on account of repairs to the Flow More Vertical Turbine pumping unit, 6 cusec capacity, coupled to 60Hp induction motor by way of dismantling of prime mover, motor stool, coupling, bearing housing assembly, gland assembly, motor shaft, line shaft, pump shaft, column pipes, companion joint, and bowl assembly. The job includes carriage of the bowl, housing assembly, spider assemblies etc to the workshop where necessary repairs are to be conducted in a private load carrier and back to the station, refitting/lowering of the unit at site and testing on full load. The technical specifications of the items to be replaced are given as: i. Replacement of the damaged S.S. Sleeve by way of fabrication, providing and fitting of stainless steel AISI 410 shaft grade sleeve of size outer dia 38mm, inner dia 30mm and 150mm long. The machining job shall be carried out on the lathe by engaging the skilled mechanic. --- 3 No. ii. Replacement of damaged GM bush of bell mouth assembly by way of providing and fitting of the GM bush of size 200mm long, 75mm outer dia and 55mm inner dia. ---- 1 No. iii. Replacement of damaged GM bush of bowl assembly by way of providing and fitting of the GM bush of size 125mm long, 75mm outer dia and 55mm inner dia. ---- 2 No iv. Replacement of damaged GM bush of gland assembly by way of providing and fitting of the GM bush of size 75mm long, 50mm outer dia and 38mm inner dia. ---- 1 No v. Replacement of central Kit Rubber Bush as per sample --- 2 No. vi. Replacement slipped SS Bolts and nuts as per sample. --- 30 No. vii. Replacement of ball bearing 6015 or its equivalent SKF/ARB Make to the housing assembly. ---- 1 No. viii. Replacement of the locking studs as per sample --- 4 No. ix. Providing and filling of M.oil to the unit.--- 05 Ltr The job shall include re-metaling of the impeller shaft and rebuilding of the same by necessary machining to arrive to the required specifications of the given shaft. The job also includes repairs to the strainer assembly by way of welding using superior quality electrodes.
