Appendix A: Supply and erection of 2 Nos. VT Pumpsets

Supply of reputed make (as per list attached) brand new electrically driven VT pumpset conforming to relevant IS to pump water against the following duty conditions with all required accessories like priming arrangement, required length of column pipe etc. required for the pump. The pumpsets shall be coupled with the motor specified in item No.2 given below Synchronous speed- 1480 rpm Impeller- Bronze LT B2 Shaft-SS410 Casing- Cast Iron Neck ring- Bronze LT B2 Sleeve- SS410 Total Head-77m Discharge-200 lps Pumping Main-600mm CI Pipe: 133 m 700mm CI Pipe: 504 m 750mm CI Pipe: 2163 m Total Length :2800 m Floor level of pumphouse-11m. Level of top of aerator-67m Foot valve level-1m 2 Nos. pumps shall be in operation in parallel simultaneously and the combined discharge shall be minimum 400 lps. Combined efficiency of pumpsets in simuntaneous operation shall not be less than 70%.

Supply of reputed make (as per list attached) brand new best quality 3 phase 415V, 50 Hz AC copper wound high efficiency continuous duty , Screen Protected Drip Proof, solid shaft squirrel cage EF2 induction motor of insulation class 'H' , Temperature rise limited to class B, conforming to suitable IS with non-reversible ratchet arrangement and neccessary coupling arrangements, suitable in all respect to be coupled with pump in item No.1

Supply of suitable rating (minimum 800A) starter for VT pumpset 1 No. 300HP, suitable type VFD type soft starter with all Motor protection arrangements: Make: ABB/Siemens/ L& T.

Supply of wall mounting M.S fabricated electrical panel board of minimum thickness 14 gauge and painted corrosion resistive paint with following accessories. a) Brand new 4 pole Air Circuit Breaker 800A conforming to relevant IS Specification – 1 No. b) 100mm size flush mounting type volt meter to read upto 500 volt conforming to relevant IS specification - 1 No c) 100mm size flush mounting type ammeter conforming to relevant IS specification -1 No d)Single phasing preventor conforming to relevant IS specification - 1 No e)Dry run preventor conforming to relevant IS specification - 1 No f) Suitable power factor improvement capacitor MPP Heavy duty of required capacity conforming to IS specification - 1 No g) Neon type indicating lamps with separate fuse switch - 3 Nos h) MCCB for capacitor control-1 No.

Supply and fitting MCCB at Transformer room conforming to IS specifications.(Minimum 800A)

Supply of best quality CI -D/F ISI. marked sluice valve. PN 1.6 to suit the pumpset.

Supply of best quality suitable size CI -D/F ISI. marked reflux valve.PN 1.6

Supplying 100mm size pressure gauge of required range with cock valve etc,. Complete

3 phase wiring from panel board to starter, starter to Motor etc. with UG cable armoured PVC insulated copper conductor cable as per IE rules with required current carrying capacity as per the direction of departmental officers and as per IE rules.

Supply of all earthing materials for earthing the motor, panel board and all electrical items as per IE rules

Supply of MS specials required for connecting the outlet of the pumpset to the pumping main arrangements for smooth commissioning of above pumpset.

Dismantling existing pumpset, column pipes, motor, starter,panel board, cable connections and all other accessories including delivery pipe, valves etc. and conveying and storing in safe storage within 100m from the pump house.

Erection of pumpset ,motor valves , Panel boards satisfying KSEB and Electrical Installations as IE rules including Civil works for fitting, erection pipe, connection and delivery main, cost of materials such as cement, sand, metal, pipe and specials, nut, bolt, motor etc. complete including conducting trial running as per the direction of departmental officers.

Supply and fixing suitable thick new rubber mat in the pump house as per IE rules

Charges for warranty of the pumpset, motor and accessories for first 2 years including rewinding charges

Supplying of PVC insulated copper conductor cable with ISI mark suitable to supplied motor as per IE rules.

Supply of CO2 type fire extinguisher.
