NOTE (Applicable for all items):- The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum/ amendments and General conditions of contracts before entrying/quoting the rates. SCHEDULE 'A' BOQ

Excavating in trenches, n exc1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; as in soft/loose soil for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as directed.

All as per Sl Item No 1.00 here-in-before but for hard/dence soil (Bituminous Road including soling, WBM etc).

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. as in hard/dense/soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150mm thick(Spread thickness) Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed, spread rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl Item No 5.00 here-in-before but 200 mm thick

M&L for 15 cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM in two layers of each 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness), with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2(63 to 40mm size) or of gradig 3(50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl Item No 7.00 here-in-before but 20 cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM in two layers of each 10 cm thick.

M&L for Preparing of WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 10 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparing of black topped surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam of coarse aggregate (50 to 20mm) mixed with 4% binder of paving bitumen by weight of total mix laid/rolled with 8 to 10 power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) of paving bitumen @ 2.5kg/10 Sqm over bituminous macadum surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet 4 cm consolidated thickness, with 0.54 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 kg of paving butimen (VG-30) , rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for liquid seal coat, applying evenly binder @ 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm with paving bitumen binding with 6.3 mm size stone chipping @ 0.09 Cum per 10 Sqm and rolled to uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement MS(mild steel) clamp, made out of any MS section as required at site incl nut-bolt & washers of suitable size incl necessary welding bends, straps, support pipes, if required hook heavy or large and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer using steel conforming to FE-290 Grade-E-165 fixed in repair complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Retrived material shall be deposited in MES Store-yard all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (b) Rate of taking down of old material and transportation to MES Store from the site shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2(40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on brick or concrete surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork with sub- class ‘B’ bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1(20mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement centrifugally cast(Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure Pipe with spigot & socket end , class K-9 conforming to IS : 8329/2000 suitable for (push -on) rubber gasket jointing with centrifugally applied inside cement mortar lining with sulpher resistant cement and external metallic Zinc coating with finishing layer of black bitumen coating on external surfaces in any length laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed of size 250 mm nominal bore. Note:- (a) Rate of taking down of old material shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

Supply and fix in replacement centrifugally cast(Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure Pipe with spigot & socket end , class K-9 conforming to IS : 8329/2000 suitable for (push -on) rubber gasket jointing with centrifugally applied inside cement mortar lining with sulpher resistant cement and external metallic Zinc coating with finishing layer of black bitumen coating on external surfaces in any length laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed of size 200 mm nominal bore. Supply and fix in replacement Ductile Iron Non-Return valve flange of class PN 1.6 of size 250mm, ISI marked heavy duty for DI pipe, conforming the testing standered as per IS :14846/2000 and fixed completely in location all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Rate of taking down of old material shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

Supply and fix in replacement Ductile Iron Non-Return valve flange of class PN 1.6 of size 200mm, ISI marked heavy duty for DI pipe, conforming the testing standered as per IS :14846/2000 and fixed completely in location all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Rate of taking down of old material shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.

Supply and fix in replacement Ductile Iron Sluice valve flange of class PN 1.6, brass spindal of size 250mm, ISI marked heavy duty for DI pipe, conforming the testing standered as per IS :14846/2000 and fixed completely in location all as specified and directed. M&L for brick masonary valve pit internal dimension 1500x1500x1000mm incl all allied works such as necessary excavation, earth work plastering with 15mm thick in cement mortar(1:4) brickwork built in cement mortar with sub class B brick PCC coping with 1:3:6 type C2 using 20mm graded cement mortar also includes welding of MS angle iron, 3.15mm thick MS sheet cover, handle and locking arrangement and painting of all metal part coulor as decided by Engr-in-Charge alongwith 1 No lock 50mm all as specified and directed.

M&L for Ductile Iron special and fittings PN 1.6 as per IS for spigot and socketed pipes for water mains / branches lines such as bends(any type radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, incressing, decressing or double socket etc) tee pieces, single branch, Y junction, double branch, cross(all socket, socket and spigot) coller, caps & plugs including connecting pieces one end flanged and other socket or spigot and bell mouth pices suitable for run lead joint, run lead up to 150mm bore complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Retrived material shall be deposited in MES Stoe-yard all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (b) Rate of taking down of old material and transportation to MES Store from the site are included in unit rate of item.

Cutting of the existing DI pipe line 250mm dia for inserting Tee and reducer etc for taking 250mm dia branch pipe connection complete.

Cutting of the existing DI pipe line 200mm dia for inserting Tee and reducer etc for taking 200mm dia branch pipe connection complete. Note : For Item No 32 & 33 DI special and fittings shall be measured and paid seperately in Item No 31 above
