Replacement of corroded GI Earth Strips for Electrical Installations at Oil Jetty Berths

Supplying and laying of GI earth strip at Berth No. 9,10,11,12 & 13 of size 50 x 6 mm from Control tower and walk way Earth Pits to Service platform, Walkway, Mooring Dolphin and Breasting Dolphin. Jointing Earth Strips through welding, some places using SS Bolts, Nuts and Washers etc. complete. Earthing strips should maintain Galvanization not less than 80 microns as per IS Specifications and Galvanization is Hot dip only.

Supplying and laying of GI Earth Strips size 25x6 mm from Capstan Motor and MOV to main Earth Strips mentioned in Sl.No.1 in Jetty platform, Mooring Dolphin and Breasting Dolphin jointing Earth Strips through welding or drilling to the Earth Strips using SS bolts, nuts and washers etc. complete. Earthing strips should maintain Galvanization not less than 80 microns as per Is specifications and galvanization is Hot dip only. Work includes supply & fixing of aluminium clamps of 5 mm thick is required for Earth Strips alternatively.

Earthing with Cast Iron pipe 3 meter long 100 mm diameter, 13mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with top CC cover of size 600 x 600mm, thickness 50 mm with 64 Kg Char Coal/Coke and 5 Kg Salt as required. (As per Is 3043 amended up to date)

Removal of existing corroded Earthing Flats from Jetty platform and transporting to Electrical Subdivision-V/Stack Yard.
