The Scope of work comprises as under:- (a) Construction of 150mm diameter bores 0 to 10 meter according to IS 1892-1988 and IS-1892-1979 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Conduction standard penetration test (S.P.T) as per IS 2131-1988, the testing shall be made at One location. (c ) Collection of undisturbed soil samples at One location. (d) Conduction of laboratory tests on disturbed/undisturbed soil samples as per project requirement after completion of boring, as given below:- (i)\Sieve Analysis, (ii)Plastic Index, (iii)Specific gravity, (iv)Water content, (v)Particle size analysis, (vi)Bulk and dry density, (vii)Attenberge Limit, (viii)Harmful salt organic matter if any, (ix)Direct Shear Test (in case of sandy soil), (x)Unconfined un-drained test (in case of clay soil) (xi)Consolidation test (for saturated Soil), (xii) Differential free swell test (in case of expansive soil) The firm shall submit the soil investigation completely covering the followings:- (a) Bore Log Chart Showing depth of soil strata (b) Ground Water Table (c) Probable maximum and different settlement. (d) Safe bearing capacity based on shear and settlement. (e) Grain Size distribution and analysis (f) Soil investigation (g) Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction. (h) SBC at Different depth (1.00 m , 1.5m, 3.00m, 4.5m upto 10m)of foundation separately for the portions with and without basement. (j) Depth of expansive soil and its properties, if any. (k) Recommendation for type of foundation for RCC framed. (l) Any other recommendation. Note : 03 Sets of Ink Signed Copy of Report are required for record.
