Supply & installation of earthing pit using pipe earth electrodes as per latest IS by manually digging / blasting / boring as per the instructions of the Engineer in charge and bringing the surface to original finish. This includes supply of salt and charcoal or by chemical treatment. The earth pit shall be strictly in accordance with the electricity act 2003 and latest cea regulations.The earth electrodes should be interconnected. The Earth Pits should be painted white and Pit No. marked with paint. The Earth Pit should be covered with CI door of 8 mm thick. The door should be placed on a frame made of 25 mm MS Angle and embedded in the brick chamber which includes supply of MS farme. This also includes supply and construction of Brick chamber. This also includes supply of all GI hard wares for connection. The Earth GI Pipe to be supplied by the contractor should be 50mm dia, 3 Mt long, 3.63mm thick, Class B GI Pipe. The GI Pipe should be got approved before installing from the Engineer in charge.

Insulatorsalos to be considered for laying as per EIC.

Supply &fixing Standard Copper air terminals having 15mm dia,1.5 Mt long with 1 discharge points . This should have terminals for terminating 4 SWG GI wire at the bootom.The fixing should be done as per the instructions of Engineer in charge.
