Excavation of trial pit (3.0 m x 1.0 m x (upto) 3.0 m) for fixing of pumping main, washout line raking every detection against damage of S.W. pipe line electrical cable etc. as underground obstruction including 37.5 mm timber shuttering, earth cutting, dewatering, barricading and back filling etc. as per directionj of E-I-C

Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. In ground floor including roof. (a) upto 150 mm. Thick

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Supplying, fitting and fixing cast iron spun pipe conforming to I.S. 1536/1976 with all necessary specials including cutting trenches in any soil or through masonry, concrete etc., if necessary,and mending good all damages including jointing pipes with Tyton joints as per manufacturer's specifications and filling up the trenches all complete but excluding the cost of masonry or concrete work, if required. (b) Class B: (i) 200 mm nominal dia.

(ii) 150 mm nominal dia.

Lead jointing to C.I pipes and specials with supply of lead and spun yarn all complete to make the joint water tight at required hydraulic pressure as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 200mm dia.

Making weight connection with existing C.I/ D.I main including the main by diamond cutting removing pipes from the trenches insertion of specials in collar , T etc. in proper level from fitting with pipes and special under water.

C.I. sluice valve with flanged ends drilled to as per I.S. 1358/62 and having all cast iron components as per I.S. 780/71 solid forged bronze inside screw spindle having ultimate tensile strength not less than 4.72 MT per sq. cm. Spindle nut valve and seat faces of hard wear resisting, manufactured from best quality gunmetal conforming to I.S. 780/71, painted black all over with asphalt base paint tested to 21 kg (hydraulic pressure) per sq. cm., valve opening to anticlockwise direction, fitted and fixed complete. (i) 200 mm

Sluice valve chamber with C.I. heavy cover with locking arrangement, (weight not less than 25 kg) (size of chamber 450 mm X 600 mm inside upto 900 mm depth) 250 mm thick cement brick walls (6:1), 150 mm thick cement concrete (6:3:1) bed with stone chips, 20 mm thick cement plaster (6:1) for inside wall and 15 mm thick cement plaster (4:1) for outer walls including rounding corners.
