SPECIAL REPAIR TO KOTA STONE FLOORING, ROOF TRATMENT AND ALLIED SERVICES AT PAO (ORS) GRRC LANSDOWNE AND KALUDANDA GUEST HOUSE

Removal of existing roof treatment i.e APP membrane and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance, scales, oil or any other loose material complete including removal of all debries from site and disposed outside MOD land all as specified and directed. Note for all Item of roof treatment :- The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey. The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding, safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items .

M&L 25 to 50mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded stone agg mixed with SBR Latex liquid polymer as water proofing compound (mixed as per manufacture instructions) over and including one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer as to be used for bonding of new concrete/ mortar to old surface as per manufacturer direction and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement as in roof padding / sunken floor to receive water proof treatment complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The cost of SBR latex deemed included in quoted rates.

M&L for water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance Note : (i) The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar and including removing serviceable tiles to store and removing all debris & rubbish from site and disposed out side MOD land premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 20mm thick prepolished granite slab (of any type) machine cut, including notching , chamfering the edges, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding and mirror polishing complete bedded over and including 20mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of marble complete all as specified and directed.

Description same all as per item No 05 above but, as in skirting/ dado (10-12mm thick granite stone) over and including 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for mirror polished machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing and polishing over and including 20mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed Note:- The size of kota stone slab not less than 550mmx550mm (cut size except the location where balanced.)

Description same all as per item No 07 above but, as in skirting/ dado (10-12mm thick Kota stone) over and including 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed.
