Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing unserviceable earthing materials along with earth electrodes from the existing earth pits pertaining to installations/ buildings and providing material and labour for maintenance free earthing using corrosion resistant earth electrode copper cladded, copper coating thickness of 250 microns, 17.20 mm dia, high tensile low carbon COPPER BONDED RODS WITH 99.9% with 25KA current discharge test from CPRI of length 3.0m as per UL 467, with suitable compressive coupler planted at depth not less than 4.6m of bore 100mm below ground level, covered with low resistant superior conductive powdered non corrosive, highly hydrous earth enhancing material all as directed including connecting up to common bus bar grid of size 25 x 3 mm to achieve optimum low earth resistance on inspection/ testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour Tripod Earthing Complete with 3 numbers of 17mm, 250 micron, 3 mtr long copper rod buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 5.0 M deep below normal ground level and copper rod connected to copper strip of size 25 x 3.15 mm by brazing only, earth strip from copper rod and up to and including the earth test point (made of gunmetal Phosphorous bronze of size 75x75x25 mm). The earth pit shall be filled with 27 Kgs of Curec+ and 50 Kgs of Curecon chemicals including removal of surplus excavated soil and deposited at the place where directed, PCC Pit shall be provided with PCC ( 1:3:6 ) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, and RCC M15 cover slab of 40 mm thick type B1 using 20 mm grade aggregate; reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm c/c both ways; including providing MS angle iron frame of size 40 X40X 3 mm etc., testing completed all as directed and specified. Note:- i) Earth conductor from earth plate to equipment up to 7.5 M length shall deemed to be included in the rate quote. Stirp beyond 7.5 M will be measured and paid under the respective item of the schedule. ii) Cost of excavation, returning and filling, earth work required based on the nature of earth pit for satisfactory completion of job deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate.

Dismantling earth chamber of earth pits pertaining to installations / building after carrying out necessary excavation, removing unserviceable earthing materials, earth electrodes and providing Material and labour for earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth of not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to GI earth wire of 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers of GI and provision of earth lead, GI protection pipe with 15mm light grade galvanized including necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth chamber and 1:2:4 type B1 RCC cover fitted with 50mm thick with 6mm dia MS bars @ 100 mm c/c both ways.. complete all as shown in SSR Pt - 1 electrical plate No 3. Note : i) Quoted rate shall deemed to include cost or excavation and earth work PCC Chamber, funnel cover etc. ii) GI earth wire of 4 mm dia and GI light grade protection pipe 15 mm dia up to 7.5 m shall deemed to be included in quoted rate under this item. iii) GI earth wire of 4 mm dia and GI light grade protection pipe beyond 7.5 m will be measured and paid under respective items.

Dismantling earth chamber of earth pits pertaining to installations/ buildings, after carrying out necessary excavation and removing unserviceable earthing materials, earth electrodes providing Material and labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, filling with alternate layers of charcoal & common salt Crystal, in and including back filling compound in layers and filling up with black cotton soil up to the top edge/ ground level and connecting to copper earth strip of size 20 mm x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of copper and connecting to earth dolly, equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part I of 2009 & testing complete including 40mm dia light grade GI pipe up to 7.5 mtr long, excavation in any type of strata, PCC ( 1:3:6 ) type C1 earthing chamber, pre cast slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete ( 1: 2 : 4 ) type B 1 ( reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 Kg / Sqm with frame, including 20 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including GI Funnel , wire mesh etc. NOTE :- i) Copper earth continuity conductor of size 20 mm x 3 mm. and GI light grade protection pipe 40mm dia up to 7.5 m shall deemed to be included in quoted rate under this item. ii) Copper strip and protection pipe beyond 7.5 m will be measured and paid under respective items. iii) Quoted rate shall deemed to include cost or excavation and earth work PCC Chamber, funnel cover etc.

Material and labour, for PVC insulated single core unsheathed multi strand cable green in colour conforming to IS with flexible bright annealed copper conductor of size 50 sqmm suitable for voltage grade up to 1100 V for earthing and including connecting of with suitable copper lugs , nuts , bolts and washer compete all as per specify and directed by Engineer in Charge .
