Outsourcing of services to operate, routine check and routine maintenance as per daily, weekly & monthly check as per manufacturers instructions, through authorized person suitable for DG set Mahindra make 100 KVA capacity installed at Military Hospital Jutogh , by providing one FGM (Skilled) per shift , in Three shifts per day round the clock including Sunday and Holidays, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Outsourcing of services to operate, routine check and routine maintenance as per daily, weekly & monthly check as per manufacturers instructions, by providing following staff in Two shifts per day suitable for DG set Mahindra make 62.5 KVA capacity installed at RMS Chail and attending day to day electrical complaints at RMS Chail and Chail Station, including Sunday and Holidays, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

One skilled Electrician per shift (each shift of 08 hours)

One unskilled helper per shift (each shift of 08 hours)

NOTES FOR SER ITEM NO 1 TO 2 ABOVE

Proper Handing/Taking over of assets of the area and their safe custody will be ensured by the contractor. Deficiency of item will not be entertained at the end of the contract period. Any theft/loss occurred during the currency of the contract will be brought to the knowledge of Engr-in charge immediately.

The Contractor are being advised to visit the installation before quoting their rates. Further no excuse will be entertained on the pretext that machinery/ equipment installed at power houses/ distribution system on the basis of its function ability and vintage.

Maintain proper record of preventive maintenance and log book of DG set as per instruction.

Contractor will be responsible for Police verification of his staff.

Proper locking arrangement shall be made by the contractor to ensure safety of Govt. assets of the responsible area.

Contractor will have no rights to object the work carrying out by other contractor at substation, HT/LT distribution or DG Set system of the power house area under comprehensive maintenance. However necessary handing taking over of the assets will be carried out between the agencies.

Rate quoted against item Nos : 1 to 2 deemed to be included cost of tools and plants, transportation, Bonus, Uniform, Safety equipments, GST, LWC, EPF/ESIC etc.

Necessary T&P and safety equipments shall be provided by the contractor.

Proper Uniform shall be provided by the contractor.

Contractor will provide proper electrical & Fire safety instructions/guidlenes to his staff. Department is not liable in case of any accident.

The Electrician / FGM/Operator must be skilled ITI holder in appropriate trade and must be able to do maintenance, operation, handling and safety of HT/LT supply and DG set, switch gears etc. Helper must be Matric and having minimum 3 years experience.

Insurance of the staff employed in this contract shall be provided by the contractor as per labour laws and will submit the detail to Engr-in-Charge.

The operator will carry out visual inspection of DG Set and maintain record as per manufacturer instruction minor maintenance like dusting, tightening of loose connection and replacement of aluminium tube terminal and checking level of engine oil as required at site by using proper T & P .

The contractor will observe all labour laws as per Central/State Deptt . He shall also ensure, payment of minimum wages to the staff employed in this contract.

Diesel and lubricating oil will be issued by the department for running and top up of DG sets. Operator has to demand diesel in advance and maintain proper record of FOL.

The operation and routine checking shall be carried out as per the manufacturer instructions during contract period.

Operator has to ensure the availability of diesel, water, coolant, engine oil for Gen Sets and in case of failure, operator has to immediately inform to Engineer-in-Charge.

Contractor will submit Educational qualification/Experience Certificate alongwith ID proof, Photo, Bank Account Details, Police verification, ESIC/EPF details of his staff as per labour laws and get approval from Accepting officer .

All staff will wear uniform/dress on duty as approved by GE.

The operator has to carry out the weekly maintenance and cleaning of battery , charger & DG set.

All earthing will be tested quaterly and records will be maintained in a register verified by Engr-in-Charge.

The contractor will ensure that his staff will carry cellphone in all shifts with incoming and outgoing facilities without any extra cost to department.

Any one absent on duty, a recovery at the double rate of quoted rate will be charged of respective Trade.

Contractor will ensure that proper record of ESI/EPF or any other is being maintained as per labour laws.

Contractor will be responsible for provinding First Aid medical Kit to all Electrician & helper.

Any compenents/fixtures/store reqd for complaints shall be issued from AGE E/M Store Yard.

Unserviceable items/store shall be diposited back to AGE E/M store.

Contractor also ensure to provide weekly off to the Tradesman/staff eployed as per labour law.

With each RAR Payment the contractor will deposit attendance register & bank statement as a proof of payment through e-payment made to the staff with duly signed by Staff and Contractor.
