12000 Hrly routines of DA

E-001: Following scope of jobs on Port and STBD DA are as follows:- (a) Overhaul and Exchange (i) Cylinder head assembly, Oil pump & fuel oil transfer pump. (ii) Sea water pump and coolant pump. (iii) Replace 04 nos piston (iv) De-couple of crankshaft from alternator (b) Inspect and Replacement (i) Crankshaft bearing, Crankshaft seal, Thrust bearing, Main bearing and rod bearing. (ii) Turbocharger. (c) Chemical cleaning and pressure testing (i) Oil cooler (ii) Heat exchanger and charge air cooler (d) Post overhauling of engine to be coupled with alternator and alignment to be proved. (e) Safety alarms and trip to be proved. (f) Satisfactory operation of STBD DA to be proved as per load capacity. On completion necessary calibration certificates to be provided to the ship. All above mentioned jobs to be undertaken and proved for satisfactory operation. All inway jobs included. (Make: Caterpillar, Model C4.4, 86 KW)
