Maintenance of 33 KV indoor control and relay panel of 33 KV by checking wiring from outdoor VCB to indoor control panel, tightening of loose connections, U/S indicator with holder, thimble, replacement of unserviceable wiring/part including testing, calibration and checking of tripping system of 33 KV control panel through all protective relays installed on each C&R panel including testing and adjust/ repair the alarm circuit as per time current characteristics by primary injuction test at 60%, 75%, 100% plug including well cleaning and decarbonizing of relay contacts complete all as specified and directed.

Overhauling and servicing of 33 KV VCB including repair and setting of operating mechanism parts, spring charging material mechanism, well cleaning with petrol and CRC-226 and replacing unserviceable parts/ accessories, oiling/ greasing of moving parts, dismantling, checking and well cleaning of pole insulator, checking of vaccum, interupters well cleaning mechanism links fibre reinforced plastic frame around the vaccum interupters including routine and periodical test complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Spare parts required to make VCB functional replaced wih SCADA compatible parts/ accessories will be measured and paid separately under respective items complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old painted surfaces of 33 KV Switch yard including all outer steel structures/ frame/gate of bus bay at Grid, steel housing by brushing/cleaning stains, greasy spots with thinner, applying two coats of spray painting ( aluminium paint) with spraying machine in the yard including writing description of equipments in block English letters 100 mm high with white/black synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for supply, Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner, applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) on all sides of 33 KV 05 MVA transformer and its accessories with spraying machine in the yard including writing description of equipment in block English letter 50 mm high with white/Black synthetic enamel paint and re-connection after painting complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for spreading of crushed stone aggregate of nominal size not more than 40mm from the bay/yard manually without damaging any equipments, cable or parts of the 33 KV Grid bays, spreading & levelling of finished gravel uniformaly in layers n. exc. 15 cm thick to true surface all as specified and directed including taking out of old material.

M & L for cutting and removing grass, vegetation bushes etc from inside boundary wall and outsite boundary wall of 33/11 KV Sub Stn, around 33 KV towers and removing all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Servicing & Repairs to Air-break switch (isolator) off load, rotating type, 33 KV, 800 Amps to 1250 Amps capacity, with proper alignment of isolator rotating blades, with fixed contact jaws, arcing horns, applying petrolium jelly to moving mechanism, cleaning and lubricating to isolator gear box assembly, tightening all nuts, bolts and clamps of jumpers etc, repairing to isolator gear box assembly and making in proper serviceable condition for smooth functioning, testing and commissioning on load complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and Fixing in repairs, male/moving contact/ rotating blade of HDE copper silver plated of Air Brake, off load isolator switch, rotating type, 33 KV, 1250/800 Amps capacity with all fixing nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and Fixing in repairs, Fixed Contacts, made of HDE copper, silver plated, of Air Brake, off load isolator switch, rotating type, 33 KV, 1250/800 Amps capacity with all fixing nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below and around underground cables for cushioning of cables etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Measurement shall be taken after punning down.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm. complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement , XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 33 KV (E) grade, of size 240 Sq mm, 3 core, laid in trenches complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 240/300 Sqmm incl taking down of existing complete complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 300 sqmm 3 core incl taking down of existing complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system laid in trenches fixed to pole, including jointing & testing of size 300 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 300 Sqmm incl taking down of existing complete all as specified and directed.

Opening up the top cover of power transformer of 5 MVA out door type and taking out the transformer Oil in a separate container (arranged by contractor with in day )after disconnecting the HV/LV side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer, for carrying out necessary repair & testing like leakage arresting ,Visual inspection of Tap etc or visual inspection of core/ winding at site including taking out complete core assembly, Megger the defective winding portion/taking out ,cleaning the laminated core,cleaning the tank including minor repair ( ie brazing, soldering, adjusting of coil, packaging ) or as directed if reqd for transformer including assembling & testing & installation the same at the site all as specified and directed by the Engineer-In-Charge,.Note:- (a) All T&P charges etc shall be deemed to be inclusive in the above quoted rate.(b) The cost of insulation material such as paper,cotton tape, latheriod sheet, cork sheet and minor repair wk etc are inclusive in the quoted rates. (c ) Cost of cleaning are included in quoted rates.

M&L for shifting of transformer 5 MVA from 33 Yard to workshop for repairing purpose with suitable T&P and Vehicle safely and revert back from wksp to original place incl connection installation and charging complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Dehydration and filtering the transformer oil with dehydration machine to achieve required di-electric strength of the oil up to 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and directed. Note 1 :- Dehydration machine and other required equipments shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this effect. Note2 : BDV Test certificate shall be submitted by contractor after dehydration.

Supply and filling transformer oil in sealed container for topping up the level of oil having dielectric strength 60 KV during filling after initial filtration, Make -:POWER/ INSOLE/ UNIVERSAL conforming to relevant IS-335 complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for opening up the top cover of transformer and taking out the transformer oil in a separate container after disconnecting the HT/LT side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer of any type/description (indoor/out door type) installed on pole/floor, for carrying out necessary repair/rewinding to HT/LT side after shifting the transformer to contractors work shop including taking out complete core assembly, megger testing the defective winding portion/taking out , cleaning the laminated core and rewinding with appropriate gauge/winding wire/strip winding of existing description for transformer of capacity 50 to 100 KVA including assembling & testing on completion & installation the same at the site complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (a) Winding of coil shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item.(b) Transportation charges are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(c) The cost for the dehyderation of transformer oil if required shall be measured and paid seperately.(d) The cost of insulation material such as paper, cotton tape, latheriod sheet, cork sheet etc are included in the quoted rate. (f) Proper shut down shall be taken by the contractor before execution of the work.

Supply installation,testing and commissioning of chemical earthing maintenace free with electrode of size 85 mm dia x 300 mm long with 17.2 mm Cu bonded MS conductor pre cast or in situ cast in high purity electrically conductive granular material having ultra low resistive value . Electrode made of conductive earth enhancing material mixed wirth cement in ratio 3:1 to encase or back fill the voids surrounded the 17.2 mm cu bonded MS conductor or other metal components places in augured bore hole of 85 mm diax3000 mm depth, resulting to increase in the effective surface area of the earth electrode or grids to lower the resistance permanently with no further maintenance, like periodic, re- watering or recharge of salt or earth enhancing compound for a long period in dry soil or rocks, earth enhancing material should not leach chemicals in to the adjacent soil or underground water chanels and should be pH neutral range. Earth enhancing material should permanently protect the encased metal compound of earthing system. All hardware like nuts, bolts and washers should be stainless steel Electrode top terminal be sealed permanently packed with conductive concrete and Cu bonded MS/ copper extension strip taken out be terminated on to the earth bus bar complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11 KV grade earthed laid in trenches/ducts/encased in GI pipe/fixed to pole including jointing and testing complete all as specified and directed of size 95 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11 KV grade earthed laid in trenches/ducts/encased in GI pipe/fixed to pole including jointing and testing complete all as specified and directed of size 120 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying only serviceable 11 KV XLPE insulated armoured cable obtained from item Ser No 85 above all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note : Excavation and earth work will be paid and measured sepertely in relevant items.

Dismantling of PCC/steel tubular pole incl coping, insulators from poles complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling of MS work any type i.e cross arms, bracing supports ,anlge Channels ,clamps etc,poles complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for steel tubular sewaged poles of complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plate, bolts, nuts and screws, as specified type 410 SP-55 11 Mtrs long all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair GI tube 100 mm bore light grade with all fittings and fixed complete for road crossing /on wall/floor and crossing culvert or laid in floor. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for horozontal boring and inserting casing pipe with all fitting and fixture with material of HDPE pipe size 150 mm of pressure rating 6 Kg/Cm2 along road and under pavements/hard standing/railway/road crossing in all type of soils at prescribed depth of boring not less than 1.75 Mtr from the raod surface including making PCC Chamber with cover at both ends of road. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting the external exposed surfaces of steel tubular swaged/rail poles of HT alongwith cross arms, bracket and connected accessories with one coat of aluminium paint including preparation of old painted surfaces and writing the details of the pole in white letters on black back ground and pasting radium red strickers/paint with 3 lines around the pole complete all as directed.

M&L Cleaning of surrounding areas from large grass weeds ,vegetation, shrubs branches of trees at substations, near Transformers ,near RMU panel ,near Electric pole structures by manual /Electric Grass cutting machine/JCB etc with complete grass and vegetation clearance from ground and leveling if required without any damage to the electric cables and items complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Notes: Rates of T&P must be included in the quoted rates

S&F in repair Cable end termination 11 KV HT (heat shirnkable) cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor /outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Repairing of DC Battery charger suitable for recharge of batteries 12 Volt 160 AH for supply to relays for smooth functioning of control relay including replacement of worn out wiring and replacement of other defective parts complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable batteries from DC battery bank float cum boost charger and S&F with 2 Volts 100 AH new maintenance free batteries dry type complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair of Potential Transformer (PT) 1 1 KV/110 V and suitable to match the existing system including overhauling , replacement of burnt winding of primary & secondary , replacement of oil etc and reinstall after repair & testing on load complete as specified and directed .

M&L for repair and servicing of strip heater/ thermostat assembly of VCB panels of 11 KV of existing make/ type/mode/ capacity including dis-assembling of strip heater / thermostat and replacing unserviceable spare parts, wiring, cable, including well cleaning the complete panel board,main busbar,decarbonizing all joints busbar by using blow lamp to ensure proper function of strip heater complete all as specified and directed .Note:- Spare parts required to make strip heater/thermostat assembly , functional will be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for sign board complete made out of stainless steel sections of round/square as required at site and indicated of size (1.80 x 1.50 M) incl supporting legs made out of same material and hight of complete board not less than 2.80 Mtr with best quality ACP sheet and luminous letter writing size of letter and colours of back gound and letters will be indicated by Engr-in-Charge. All earth and PCC work as reqd at site for fixation of board is incl in quoted rates.

Supply and fix HT PVC tape roll of size 38 mm width in 09 Mtr roll complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix HT Fuse wire of capacity 5 Amp/10 Amp/30 Amp/100 Amp complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead GI strip 32x6mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to continuous earth wire/lead on DG set/ LT panel board. all as specified and testing on completion, including provision of earth wire protected by 15 mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from test point to main board and 40mm GI medium grade watering pipe funnel, PCC earth pit and RCC cover charcoal, salt and GI wire including excavation and earth work etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Complaints pertaining to External Electric Supply shall be resolved by the contractor immediatelly after getting complaints. In case of failure on the part of contractor to resolve to the complaints within stipulated time, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per hour per complaint shall be recovered from the contractor dues.(ii) The contractor or his authorised representative shall report to the concerned JE E/M at 09:00 hours dailly on all working days to receive order/instructions of the work. A register shall be maintained to record all orders & instructions and their complaints and is to be signed by the contractor/his representative and the Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M concerned.(iii) Work done register to be maintained by the contrator.
