REPAIR/RESURFACING OF INTERNAL ROADS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS IN NAA UNDER GE(N) TEZPUR

M & L for preparation of old black bituminous top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and apply a tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30 @ 5 kg per 10 square meter complete in all respect as specified and directed.

M & L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30 at the rate of 4% by weight of total mix complete in all respect as specified and directed.

M & L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud of water scoring sunken surface in road etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10 sqm and filled with bituminous premixed carpet mix, 25mm consolidated thickness, with 0.33 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 kg of binder (paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30) per 10 square meter, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power road roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified and directed.

Providing and laying design mixed, semi dense bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power road roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified and directed. Note:- No extra amount will be paid for variation of qty of binder content

Material and Labour for 2.5mm thick Thermoplastic road marking material/Hot making paint (minimum qty of material @ 2.02 gm per Cucm) of specified shade/colour using hot process by fully automatic thermplastic materials applicator machine filled with profile shoe, glass beads (minimum qty of mglass beads @ 30% of main material's by weight) to be embedding and anchoring at a depth of 50-60% and should be pressure type system, having tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of all materials, labour, T&P, transportation, cleaning the road surface of all dirts, seals, oil grease, grass and foreign materials etc., complete in all respect as specified and directed. Road marking material should comply with BS 3262:Part 1:1989,AASHTO M-249,MORTH ( Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, India ) Clause 803.4.2 1, JIS K 5655 of Make: IRA road marks, Asian paints (Apcomark), Automark Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd., Metalite (Hibrite) (Note:- The work shall be executed by manufactures authorised applicator only)

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
