M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). (iii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 60/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iv) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade (VG-10) at 5 kg per 10 sqm and M&L for bituminous premixed carpet, 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 0.41 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder VG-30, laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand (As per 4.4.7.2 grading Zone-I, table 2 of SSR Part-I 2009) mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, VG-30 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bituminous premixed carpet shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth, making good by filling in premixed bitumen macadam and well ramming (including supply premixed macadam, binder and chippings) and applying tack coat of bituminous primer paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 5 kg per 10 sq m and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with binder 6.8 kg per 10 sq m of paving bitumen VG-30 grade, blinded with 0.06 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels or drain complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, for drainage across roads complete all as specified and directed.
