Material and labour for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer over bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix Semi-Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen grade VG-30, mixed in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with vibratory roller HD 99 VV or equivalent roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on lesser side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted(Minus) through supply only rates of paving bitumen VG-30 as per Particular specification clause No.5.6.3.2. However, no price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, path etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10, putting premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with 9.8 kg per 10 sqm bitumen grade VG-30, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing new or old bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick and not exceeding 10cm wide centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like on roads pavements with using hot thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 mixed with reflectorising glass beads @ 250gm per Sqm with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and all as directed.
