Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The rates include all leads and lifts, and work shall be carried out as per theinstruction of Engineer-in-charge.All specifications are as per relevant IS codes. The rates for the specification in the Schedule - B includes all leadand lifts irrespective of the distance and height, no extra claim will beentertained for additional lead and lifts.

The intending bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of For work Rs 35.00 Lakhs in at least two financial years during the last 5 years reckoned back from 2025-26 (turnover during 2021-22 to 2025-2026 only will be considered) duly updating the financial turnover at 10% per year to bring it to the price level of financial year in which the tenders are invited. Audited profit and loss statement (with year wise turnover statement) certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant with mentioned compulsory UID number along with copy of Income Tax returns filed for the two years indicated above shall be furnished. (If UID Number not mentioned treated as incomplete and rejected).

The intending bidder/firm/Company should have satisfactorily completed at least one single similar nature of work in any department under projects of value in the last 5 years (2021-22 to 2025-26) should have satisfactorily completed (at least 90% of the contract value of ongoing works) as prime contractor at least one similar nature of work(Restoration or Improvements of Canal) of value not less than For work Rs 18.00 Lakhs (usually not less than 50% of the amount put to tender under this contract.) Work done Certificate issued by an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer of the concerned division (The cost of completed work of the previous year shall be updated to 2025-26 by giving weightage of 10% per year to bring it to the price level of financial year in which the tenders are invited). Certificates should be obtained from the Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and countersigned by concerned Superintending Engineer.

To qualify for a package of contracts made up of this and other contracts for which tenders are invited in this IFT, the Tenderer must demon strate having experience and resources to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts.

Each tenderer shall submit only one tender for one package. A tenderer who submits or participates in more than one Tender other than as a subcontractor or in cases of alternatives that have been permitted or requested will cause all the proposals with the Tenderers participation to be disqualified.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the Employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

Successful Tenderer has to prepare most optimal and safe design details in all respect for all the structural members and the same should be checked and ascertained from IISC Bangalore / Any IIT institutions at his own cost and the same should be got approved from the Competent authority of the Department.

The Tenderer at his own responsibility and risk is encouraged to visit and examine the Site of Works and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the Tender and entering into a contract for construction of the Works. The cost of visiting the Site shall be at theTenderers own expense.

The Contractor should go through the Tender Document and submit theresponse Technical/ commercial through KPPP procurement portal onlineafter downloading the tender.

A prospective tenderer requiring any clarification of the tender documents may notify the Employer in writing or by cable (here in after cable includes telex and facsimile) at the Employers address indicated in the invitation to tender. The Employer will respond to any request for clarification which he receives earlier than 10 days prior to the deadline for submission of tenders. Copies of the Employers response will be forwarded to all purchasers of the tender documents, including a description of the enquiry but without identifying its source.

Earnest Money Deposit: The tenderer shall furnish EMD:Rs. 60,000.00

Balance EMD Rs . 1,50,000/- shall be in favour of Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Division- No.5, Koujalagi in the form of Bank Guarantee, F.D.R in favour of Executive Engineer KNNL, GRBCC Division No.5, Koujalagi or Bank Guarantee in the prescribed format obtained from any Nationalized The part-2 of the EMD shall be delivered to the Executive Engineer before the prescribed date and time of opening of technical bid.

e-Bank Guarantee performance security shall be provided with surety bond issued by the insurance company authorized by Insurance regulatory and development authorized of india. (As per Govt order FD 994 Exp-12/2024,dtd: 03.04.2025)

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before submission of the tenders.

If the percentage quoted by the contractor for the work is below ninety percent of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender of the department, then the contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per quoted percentage and 90% of the estimated amount put to tender or recast amount put to tender. In case of contractor quotation rates above 125% of the estimated rates then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of the entire cost of the work as per the agreement

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any certification / information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid.

The Contractor is responsible for any damages due to natural calamity the Government or Nigam will not give any compensation.

The Bidder shall be responsible for successful performance of the contract.

The Bidder to participate in the tender under single bid basis only. Any violation will attract disqualification of the bid.

The contractor/authorized signatory should attach his/her scanned signature to the schedule-B before uploading and also submitting their tenders.

The necessary certificates/documents in support of eligibility criteria fulfilled as stipulated shall be scanned and attached to their e-tender documents. The Original certificates/documents shall be produced if necessitates.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Topographical errors (if any) will not be the ground for any claims by the Contractor.

The tender processing charges paid by the bidders are non-refundable, even if the tenders are cancelled.

Department has no binding/obligation for providing quarters or any civic amenities for the accommodation of workers provided by the agency.

The Contractor should furnish the name of the individual/ firm with address & telephone No. with place of registration, year of incorporation etc.

EMD of the un-successful bidders will be refunded only after the acceptance of tenders by the competent authority. (Clause 21 of formal tender notice).

Each of the documents uploaded to the KPP-Portal should be self-attested by the Consultant or an authorized representative in case of firm/company

After successful completion of the work the tested materials and samples, registers & reports etc are to be handed over (before obtaining completion certificate) to our Division and Sub Division.

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday, the next working day is valid.

The Bidders should adhere to the accepted execution plan submitted by him under any circumstances without linking to the pending payment of the work and other local problems if any.
