Excavation in earth work in hilly areas in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, widths, camber, super elevation and level as shown in the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specifications for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of general conditions for contract ot achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal dumping to be arranged by the contractor of un-suitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimentions including disposal of surplus materials with all leads and lifts at the locations specified in the tender documents or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of the stone, whether useful or not, for7584.80 cum. In all cases, @ Rs. 300/-only per Cum. Shall be effected on prorta basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in Hilly Area in all kinds of soil by all means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth upto all leads and lifts as per drawing and technical Specification clauses 1603.1 and as per direction of The Engineer-In-Charge complete.

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures upto all depth as per drawing and technical specification clauses 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material as per direction of The Engineer-In-Charge complete.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crate with 4mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh ( woven diagonally ) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specification including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as per directions of The Engineer – in – Charge complete.
