M&L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab, including parapet comprising with the following course of treatment/specification from bottom to top (i) Rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) on existing roof surface true to level after applying cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm.. ii) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm. (iii) Supply and laying 3mm thick APP based olymeric membrane of approved manufacturer with weight not less than 3.60 Kgs per Sqm, reinforced with non-woven polyester febric weight not less than 150gms per Sqm. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30cm(minimum) and than inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (iv) One coat of Solar reflective bituminious Aluminium paint of approved brand to be provided over the APP membrane as per manufacturers instructions. Note : (a) Work shall be carried out through specialized applicator approvrd by GE. Contractor shall submit sufficent documents/Credentials in support of Applicator whom he wants the work excuted. (b) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (c) A minimum overlap of 100mm and 75mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instruction
